The Deltarune Fan Cafe in Toronto this weekend was organised by two UofT students who are also the executives of the UofT Fanfic Club— which is I think the first glaring issue about how this event was going to go down

@oowgn Literally nobody knows what the university was informed regarding what was going to be taking place

@urmom282848 @mossm0th @1TheRedFox And they flew too close to the sun🤷‍♂️ And after hosting two other fandom events that did not have the best organisation themselves, but were slightly excusable as first time events, you would think they’d acknowledge the need to scaleback how they approach events

@zuzeyan I genuinely do not think they disclosed what exactly they would be doing at the event, at least not related to the food at least. Because theres no way that would’ve gotten approved

For the UofT Fanfic Club events? Fine, it’s a UofT club. But for events that have extended out of that— WHY? No wonder so many people got food poisoned, not only bc of how food was handled, but because those classroom
