Andy Burnham’s economic blueprint has leaked, and it is a complete disaster for the British middle class.

He is backing a scheme to scrap council tax and replace it with a new annual property tax of 0.48% of your home's value. 🤡

If you live in an average £553,000 house, you will be forced to pay £2,654 every single year just for the privilege of living in your own home.

But the Labour tax grab gets even worse. 💷

Burnham wants to hike the top rate of income tax to 50p.

His economic advisers are also pushing to scrap capital gains tax and tax your investments and dividends at full income tax rates.

He is even proposing a flat 10% care levy on all inheritance, dragging millions of ordinary families into a death tax on their loved ones' estates from pound one.

They are coming for everything you have built.
And look at how quickly they will lie to your face just to get your vote.

To win the Makerfield by-election last week, Burnham promised WASPI women he would "stick by" them and deliver billions in pension compensation.

The second the vote was over, his team immediately backflipped and admitted they have zero plans to pay it. 🤡

They ruled out cash payouts entirely, offering them taxpayer-funded bus passes instead.

They treat the public like absolute fools while using your hard-earned wages to fund their political ambitions.

The global financial markets are already panicking.

The yield on 10-year gilts spiked the second Starmer resigned because Burnham openly declared he wants to stop being in hock to the bond markets, which is code for massive, reckless state borrowing.

This will drive UK mortgage rates and business loans through the roof, leaving everyday families to pay the price.

Labour has simply changed the face in Downing Street, but the plan to bleed the working class dry remains exactly the same.

The local Labour MP's first response was not to demand answers about knife crime. It was to go on X and tell the British public not to "exploit" the incident for "clickbait."

in all my 56 years living in Great Britain, I've never seen people so angry with what's become of our once great country. everything is failing, from local councils to national government. from the nhs to the bbc.

the police force are a joke, the armed services have been depleted by successive governments, schools are full of left wing woke ideology.

our government cares more about the rights of illegal immigrants, than it does British citizens.

they give farmers of foreign countries millions while hammering British farmers with an unfair inheritance tax.

we are a Christian country with Christian values that's slowly been eradicated in favour of a religion still in the 6th century.

This can only herald bad news for our nation’s defence.
Sir Lindsay Hoyle has long been a powerful advocate for the Armed Forces from the first day he entered Parliament.

I've just been doing some calculations.

Since @RachelReevesMP became the Chancellor of the Exchequer and raised taxes, I've actually been spending LESS of my money on tax.

Why?

Because I don't buy as much "stuff" now - So I don't pay as much VAT as I did before. I'm probably paying about 25% LESS VAT than before.

Also, I've cut down on the number of miles I drive to work and the number of "leisure" drives I take. I'm actually paying about 40% LESS in fuel taxes thanks to Rachel.

I also don't have the heating on as long as before. I use less water too.

And the savings I'm making have enabled me to reduce my working hours so I also pay less income tax.

In summary - Raising taxes has reduced the tax she gets from the Higgy household.
