One thing I’ve noticed is everyone’s top 5 bug-types always seem to include most of the following; Scizor, Heracross, Scollipede, Volcarona and Golisopod.
Anyone got any faves other than these? Or does this theory check out?
At first I just thought it was funny to see all these characters from different factions chilling together but it's actually appropriate cause Sanji WOULD feed anyone regardless of background, his restaurant is like the only place the whole world could theoretically come together
If art quality alone determined greatness, Hunter x Hunter wouldn't still be discussed decades later while countless visually impressive manga got forgotten. The purpose of art is communication. Few artists communicate emotions as effectively as him
Only way I'll ever buy a ps5 is if the Kotor remake and sequel are actually good and never come to Nintendo (dunno why they wouldn't though, the originals are on the Switch and I doubt the new ones will be too much graphically)
The only non Nintendo console I've ever owned was the PS2 so yeah the third party lineup for Switch2 has been a total game changer for me, the new direct alone has too many options for me to play lmao.
Taking pause to all of the hype. This Nintendo Direct really emphasized something that I feel some people are failing to understand when it comes to this Nintendo situation right now.
When you take a look at their overall catalog of what they already have and what's coming to the Nintendo Switch 2, you'll quickly realize that there is no other platform where you have access to such a variety of quality 3rd party and 1st party titles.
You'll see people making jokes and comments about games that have been released for a few years that are just now coming to the Switch 2. But, that's the point. Nintendo is literally making it to where these studios are bringing all of your favorite games to this console.
Now, add on top of the announcements that we just saw today, like Ocarina of Time, Kingdom Hearts IV, plus other 1st and 3rd party titles arriving on the Switch 2, and then you look at the price of the Switch 2 .... It's just impossible for me to see myself playing anywhere else. 🤷🏾♂️
Never played the original to be clear, if the 3ds version didn't exist I might've played it by now but the 3ds looks so much better that I just actively don't wanna touch it lol but I'm a couch gamer, thus I need another remake.
What is this idea that remaking a game once means it can no longer be touched ever again? I say whenever tech has taken a big enough leap go ahead and update the best of the best. Idgaf that there's a version of OoT on the 3DS I want it on the big screen not looking like the og

(I hope everyone finds something to like about it actually but I'm already seeing complaints and with Zelda being a franchise where I only have a newcomer's perspective I'm somehow even more fed up with the veteran voices than in the fandoms where I'm one of the veterans lol)
Glad to be one of the few who never played the original and was specifically hoping for a Switch2 remake, stay mad Zelda oldheads I hope they make it more like Breath of the Wild too
WOW -- Trump crashes out and cuts his interview with Welker short as she presses him on his lack of evidence for claiming elections are rigged
"You're either crooked or you're stupid. Let's call it quits. Because I've had enough. Thank you darling," he tells her."
"I traveled all the way to Wisconsin for this interview," she pleads.
Japanese cities can disappoint. Visitors stroll around hoping to be awe-struck by the dreamy spectacle of clip-clopping Geisha in their wooden geita, or barreling sumo wrestlers, or high-stockinged ninja girls (à la Kill Bill), and all against a Blade Runner backdrop, only to be confronted with mostly unremitting blandness.
The constants are these: concrete, plastic, more concrete, more plastic, endless construction (one crappy shopping complex or mansion block replacing another), confusion, and noise. It can all seem dizzyingly homogenous.
