Today, at the Rakhial Circle entry to NE1, I experienced a deeply concerning 90-minute encounter with the @AhmedabadPolice. While Gujarat-registered vehicles were permitted to pass freely, our non-GJ vehicle was singled out for what can only be described as targeted harassment.

As someone who maintains an office in Ahmedabad, I am appalled by this breach of protocol and privacy. Efficiency and ethics are the pillars of trade; neither were present today. I hope respected authorities will take note of this misconduct at the NE1 entry point.

The most harrowing violation was the forced access to my mobile phone. My private conversations and bank transactions were scrutinized without any legal basis. Our devices were then withheld, effectively holding us hostage and preventing any contact with our legal counsel.

The situation escalated when two officers occupied our vehicle and drove us to a secluded roadside spot 100m away, away from public view, to further pressure us for "Chai-Paani." This blatant attempt at extortion is a stain on the "Vibrant Gujarat"!
