@offstackcc @BentoPDF Thanks! Just submitted it for review!

[Rohan @rohanvijaykumar]

I've been a longtime user and advocate of @BentoPDF, and I wanted to take what I loved about it a step further.

So I built Paperwing: a full-featured desktop PDF application built on BentoPDF, with an interface inspired by Adobe Acrobat. The goal was to make switching to a free, open-source alternative feel natural for anyone already familiar with Acrobat.

🛠️ 117+ PDF tools
📄 Edit text and images, merge, split, and organize PDFs
✍️ Sign documents and fill forms
🔍 OCR for scanned documents
🔒 Redaction and privacy-focused local processing
🔄 Convert documents between multiple formats
🖥️ Available for Windows and macOS

And the best part?
✅ Free forever
✅ Open source
✅ No subscription
✅ No account required

I believe powerful PDF tools shouldn't be locked behind expensive subscriptions. Paperwing brings the tools you need into one familiar desktop workspace.

If you've been looking for an alternative to Adobe Acrobat, I'd love for you to give it a try!
