WHAT IS MYTHOLOGY? A Thread:
It's common to see repulsion and resistance to the term 'myth' due to its erroneous association with words like 'FALSE' or 'LIES'.
So mythology is often chalked up (or dismissed) as 'the STUDY of UNTRUE or MADE-UP THINGS'.

Centering is a hard skill to learn in pottery. Even harder in life. Despite the shaky hands, I am happy to say that I have become less wobbly over time. 👌
Creating feels like having Sauron’s eye fixed on your back. As the clock ticks, you oscillate between creating something to be seen and wanting to be seen creating something.

☁️ Just clouds drifting through the Martian sky. These wisps were ~50 miles (80 km) above me & the height suggests they’re made of carbon dioxide ice. These digitally-enhanced images from one of my navigation cameras were put together into 8-frame GIFs. https://t.co/msDbzywWMP
Glancing at our new bookcase 2day, I was reminded of my past life in Mumbai. I had started with a tiny collection of books that I would stash under my bed because my PG was a one-room living box in the city of boxes. And I was sharing my box with a roomie. (So technically a raft)
I know books are old fashioned and nobody reads them anymore. But my love for designing books remains anew. Each page is constructed, composed, drafted, destroyed & reborn as a micro-environment of sights and ideas. You enter through one plane, exit in another. What a heady rush!

UI Designers - Frontenders, we control the face of the internet🗣
How do we ensure there’s room for creatives to thrive on the web design side of web 3?
What are some directions we can go with UI design? Gamified? Environment themed? #techtwitter
Spent a good part of today watching Guardians of the Galaxy Vol2. Long but fun. I still don't get #Celestials, but can appreciate the intricate world building. Waiting for #marvelverse where we step into our chosen adventures within massive story universes. Next up MCU #WhatIf
In our new home, I have been watching birds from our balcony. Never before have I enjoyed the pursuit of identifying new species, taking note of their colours, shapes and calls. It's strangely meditative. I feel like Dr Jungle looking for fruit robbing winged critters.
Today I was listening to a @TheDailyShow conversation on hot topic Critical Race Theory. Many are divided over its inclusion in schools. While I don't have anything meaningful to add to the debate, I wanted to explore one of CRT's imp features from an Indian context: Storytelling
(I really want to create a thread here but no idea how to. Let's just go with it.) I will attempt to share something interesting, something that I learnt or strongly felt about. I might fake it in case feelings run dry. Some days it will just be a #retweet
#2022NewYear I promised myself I would interact with the virtual world more this year. I have always been a bit of a recluse (and somehow have made it work for me.) But what I want going ahead, from last few years of mental misery, is a (healthy?) habit of public self expression.
Before the desert that stands today, liquid water flowed on the surface of Mars longer a lot more recently than previously thought — by about a billion years! Data from @NASAJPL’s Mars Reconnaissance Orbiter tells us more. Dip into the details: https://t.co/HT4l5UYBN4
