One of the best things about AI is that it has significantly cut down my doom scrolling. I used to search for something on Google or YouTube and inevitably end up scrolling mindlessly.
To know your goals are Fear Based(peer pressure, scaricity) or Love Based(we truly want it), easiest way to ask ourself, if we are okay after achieving no one will know it?
This is what hustle culture did to youngsters, career is important but not more that health, relationships. Remember you can have 1000 problems but if you have health problem you have only one problem.
Hello @namitathapar, it’s honestly very easy for people at your level to say sleep early and get 8 hours of sleep. From our side, life doesn’t work like that.
We have college, assignments, exams, internship work, projects, travelling, and on top of that we’re told to upskill or we’ll be left behind. After all this, there is literally no time left in the day. Sleep is the only thing we end up sacrificing.
Most of us are not privileged. Our families have expectations, financial pressure, and hopes riding on us. We can’t afford to slow down. We’re not chasing luxury, we’re chasing stability.
Good sleep is important, no doubt. But please also acknowledge the reality students and young professionals are living in. Discipline alone doesn’t fix a broken system or limited time.
When I started the gym, I trained 6 days a week with only 1 rest day. It worked… until I started lifting heavy.
Then reality hit: • Constant burnout • Insatiable food cravings • Unwanted fat gain • Zero social life
My body wasn't recovering. I realized I needed a change.
My Strategy: I schedule 2 of my 4 sessions on the weekend (Back & Legs).
Since these are big muscle groups, they take longer to train. The weekends allow me to lift peacefully without rushing for work.
On rest days? Just long walks with friends for active recovery. 🚶♂️
