To Whom It May Concern,
1. Doctors are human beings.
2. No university or school educates doctors’ children free of charge.
3. No builder gives them a house free of cost.
4. Credit card bills are not waived for doctors either.
5. Doctors must pay for branding, carpenters, plumbers, and other services for their clinics and hospitals.
6. Doctors must pay for their equipment, medications, and other supplies. No one provides these free of cost.
7. Doctors must obtain many licenses before opening hospitals or clinics, and these processes are not free of corruption.
If no one is giving doctors anything for free, there should be no unreasonable expectations from them.
I have seen prices rise simply because a “doctor” tag is attached.
A doctor’s job is one of the most difficult in the world:
1. One death, and even a good doctor can be painted as the villain.
2. One complication, and the entire system can turn violent against the doctor.
3. One human error, and the doctor can be slapped with a medical negligence case.
4. Doctors fall under the Consumer Protection Act, yet people still expect them to treat their work as unpaid public service.
5. Fees at private medical colleges run into crores, but there is little public anger about that.
6. Many government hospitals in India operate in poor conditions. Few people question the politicians they vote for. They demand accountability only from doctors.
7. Visit any corporate or government hospital, compare the duty hours with the salary, and you will not want your child to become a doctor.
8. Every profession has corruption, but not every professional is corrupt.
In the future, doctors may even be blamed for the country not becoming developed.
I request all of you to help keep this profession alive. With so much scrutiny and hostility, fewer doctors will encourage their children to follow the same path.
Applying an MDR is theoretically correct. There is a cost for all the financial plumbing. It’s like paying a toll for using an expressway.
Applying an MDR in practicality is a different ball game. It pushes you to use cards. But they have a higher MDR. So the alternative is cash. Do we want more transactions to move towards cash? Merchants will love it. More tax evasion. They are forced to put UPI QR codes coz the customers demand it. Else sales will move to the other shop.
Reforms are most difficult in a low-trust Democracy like ours.
Major cheat code for life: Master the art of the fresh start. From a bad morning. From a bad interaction. From a missed workout. From a poor decision. The goal isn't to avoid the fall. It's to shorten the time between the fall and the reset. Fast recovery compounds.
@Nithya_Shrii Exactly. But don't stop asking — stop asking the wrong people.
A farmer doesn't call a plumber to check his soil. Don't pitch your idea to whoever's available. Find whoever's qualified.
One person who's lived inside the problem > ten people who just have opinions.

Discipline means creating order within yourself. Without that order, you live in chaos. One part of you wants growth. Another wants comfort. One part wants peace. Another chases distractions. One part wants meaning. Another runs toward instant pleasure. And slowly, you become exhausted from fighting yourself. Real discipline is not forcing yourself to wake up at 5 am because someone online told you to. Or following routines that make you miserable. Real discipline is alignment. When your actions reflect your values. When your habits support the person you want to become. When your mind, body, and soul finally stop fighting each other. That’s when life starts to flow. And it happens when you 'slow down' enough to really understand what you rhythm feels like.
Before you argue with someone ask yourself, is this person mentally mature enough to grasp the concept of different perspectives?, If not there is no point to argue.
Obsess. For f*ck sakes. You only get one life. Don’t screw it up by being normal. Go all in. Act like a psycho. Let people call you insane. Please. I beg you. Obsession is the path.
