Extremely disappointing experience with @Flipkart
I ordered a MacBook Neo on 8 Oct, delivered on 13 Oct, and the device wouldn’t even power on (DOA). I reported the issue on the day of delivery.
An Apple Authorised Service Provider has now documented a hardware issue. Yet @Flipkart is refusing a return or replacement and telling me to contact the brand.
I bought a NEW laptop, not a device that needs repair immediately after delivery. I’ve already spent days chasing support, and a repair may mean sending it to Bengaluru and waiting another ~10 days.
I have already registered a grievance with the National Consumer Helpline and obtained an authorised service report confirming the hardware issue. Since @Flipkart is refusing a replacement or refund and passing responsibility to the brand, I am now preparing to approach the appropriate Consumer Disputes Redressal Commission and raise a dispute with my credit card issuer.
I hope @Flipkart takes this seriously and resolves the matter before further escalation becomes necessary. I want a brand-new replacement or a full refund not endless delays and referrals.

I would also like @Flipkart to review the recording of my latest support call (6:13 PM, 18th Oct)(Can share the executive name if required).
When I stated that I was prepared to approach the Consumer Commission, the executive responded, “That’s up to you.” I was repeatedly unable to finish explaining my concern, and the executive appeared eager to end the call without offering any meaningful assistance.
Is this how Flipkart handles a customer who has received a defective product and provided an authorised service report?
@Flipkart@flipkartsupport please review the call recording, investigate the handling of my complaint, and provide a written response along with a concrete resolution.
@flipkartsupport This appears to be a generic response. My issue has already been escalated through your support team, and I have an Apple Authorised Service Provider report confirming a hardware issue. I was explicitly denied a return/replacement over a call and told to approach the brand.
Please review the existing case history instead of restarting the process. I need a clear written decision on my request for a brand-new replacement or full refund, not another generic assurance. #ConsumerRights
For transparency, I have already shared the relevant documents, service report, and records of my communications with both @Flipkart and @AppleSupport . Both parties have been made aware of the issue, yet I still have no satisfactory resolution.
Video of Lat One v0.1 test flight.
uSTOL achieved. Achievement unlocked 🛫
The plane crashed a bit later, which we knew was going to happen, and our simulations had already suggested so, due to structural defects. However, the main objective of the test flight was to test uSTOL, which was successfully demonstrated.
We are already building Lat One v0.2, which should hopefully complete a mission. Making a plane take off is only 20% of the problem. Making it land safely is where the work lies.
Overall, we learnt so much from this entire experience. We will come out better and stronger from this.

🧵 Haryana wasn't always Haryana.
This land has been renamed, reframed, and reimagined for 3000+ years. Each name tells a story. Each story reveals what mattered to those who lived here.
Let's trace Haryana from Vedic origins to now. 🏛️
Some U.S. strategists are discussing a concept called C5 - a new global grouping of the US, China, Russia, India and Japan, as a potential alternative to the traditional G7 framework.
This idea reflects changing realities in global power:
• Europe’s role is seen as less central in this proposal, even though G7 has historically included EU members.
• A broader set of major powers could shift how strategic coordination happens on issues like security, energy and global governance.
Whether this evolves into a formal body remains unclear, but the very discussion shows how multilateral architecture is being rethought today.
