@adrianweckler However, when Ryanair fail to land and divert you can end up sat on the tarmac with no food etc for 10 hours +. Their policy is to stay on the plane at another airport and wait until they can go again, rather than let people off. You might be ok with that but worth knowing.
Good to see this finally highlighted by @IrishTimes but there’s so many people who have been vocal about their appalling treatment by @Ryanair on this day, with a bit more digging on here, this report could and should have been so much more robust.

My complaint is regarding the treatment of human beings and the least they can do is responded to it as such. I don’t want money, I just dont want anyone else to have to endure it

Nobody blames Ryanair for the storms but they will do absolutely anything to avoid flight cancellation and having to pay out
@BordGaisEnergy Thanks Neil, that is done. We cannot keep sitting waiting for callbacks and waiting for engineers who don’t show up 3 months later, some of the worst customer service I’ve ever seen.
@BordGaisEnergy Engineer has just no showed for the 2nd time on our 365 boiler care plan. We booked the appointment and paid €500 to you in November, now told next available apt is mid Feb. Our boiler is now not working, this is not acceptable and needs to be resolved ASAP.
@eoghancorry 6 months pregnant here and on the plane 7 hours + counting with only Pringles they sold me off the trolley for food. Only option given was to voluntarily disembark and told if we do that no refund, flight rebooking, or hotel cost will be paid. Don't know how this is allowed.
