If you would like to keep using it you can run it on your own infrastructure. Both the plugin and the server are open source.

With a heavy heart I must announce that I'll be removing Viewports from the @figma community. Once I'll figure out how to actually do that.
We had a pretty good run! At one point we've almost reached 70k installs and now we are at 35k active users.
Lol! @komercka is using AI generated images to create ads. Kinda makes sense from cost perspective but the result not that great, has many mistakes and looks cheap. I'm wondering though how many ppl will notice?
@tomas_paulus@komercka There is more stuff when you know what to look for. Like hair growing out of her left eyeball, malformed ear, really long neck for a kid, glitchy hair.
@komercka Right! This Christmas campaign feels truly special when you know it has been generated with AI. It has this nice personal touch you can't get anywhere else.
1/ I have an interesting problem with @figma community.
I'm maintaining several popular templates like iOS Keyboards (70k copies made), all for free. I do have a donation CTA in the file somewhere but it is hidden so that it doesn't get in the way.

4/ But even then it isn't as black and white and there are gray areas.
For example people might do some edits to the templates that required significant amount of effort.
Should it still be prohibited from re-uploading?
Where is the line?
@noalbalint Not necessarily, at least for now.
The thing is Adobe doesn't have a history of doing pro consumer moves while the list of anti-consumer moves stretches years back.
THREAD: This morning we’re announcing that @Figma has entered into an agreement to be acquired by @Adobe !
