@alz_zyd_ Microdosing for a couple weeks those 40-60 hours courses on youtube while doing some project about it usually does it. But for the love of god, learning something like real analysis outside of a classroom or without peers is way slower and u fuck up worst

@Zombielicorice @alz_zyd_ @jmhorp ..world. This ontology keeps us on a discussion about free will vs regulation, which already presupposes a definition of freedom and normative statements about desire. The problem is more complex. Neither are regulations bad nor should we take agency from people.

@alz_zyd_ @jmhorp I see what u mean, but wouldn't you say its a false dicotomy of free market vs paternalism when we have such a narrow definition of choice and desire? I see your post about the rankings between countries as something more complex than just that discussion.

I think there is a legitimate point here. GDP measures essentially how much dollar value a country creates, and dollar value depends on preferences. Like, a Romanee-Conti would I guess contribute $10k USD to GDP, but is that as "real" as $10k of bread or $10k of guns?
