Lost with the German LNG agreements is the fact that UK energy giant Centrica has now signed three offtake agreement with Canadian natural gas producers, one of them just last week: Peyto, Whitecap and Tourmaline.
The deliveries are made at the AECO hub in Alberta, which means Centrica can then ship to BC, Gulf of Mexico, swap, or whatever it wants; pricing is linked to Europe's TTF benchmark which is great exposure for the Canadian producers. Signals UK confidence in long term๐จ๐ฆviability and production.
