@worillessg readers today can't understand the distinction between fictional characters and real author. I'm not in the mood to argue with them about it, when they hate me just because thwy hate a character in the book.
Sounds a bit sad, tbh, when written explicitly. But that's my feeling.

One question nobody seems to be asking another rhe Nowak case:

Did the Digwas really think that nobody would notice the stabbing?

Did they think maybe he would make a recovery get back on his feet and wander off telling the police it was no biggie?

Or that somehow they would persuade the police someone else had come along and stabbed him when they weren’t looking?

They played the race card like every idiot and his dog does nowadays.

But they weren’t really cold calculating killers. Just idiots tbh.
