An invitation to do something with someone will always be better than never hearing from anyone
Consider that before ignoring or declining the invitation for a made up reason
Measure your progress by comparing growth against yourself, gauging where you were vs how far you’ve grown
Never by looking at someone else’s accomplishments, because you have not lived their life nor have they lived yours
The real value in I your work is how much it means to someone who needs it
Working on things nobody needs (including you) is not a good use of your time
It is always worth doing something once
You’ll either enjoy it & when you have a chance to do it again
Or not I which case you can decline next time
No one can make an angry person happy - don’t make it your responsibility
Angry people need to realize how they are, only they can chance the way they feel
When a key member of your team decides to leave
Congratulate them for making hard decisions & look at that as an opportunity - to revisit what you’re doing & change what you thought you couldn’t
