I hade a break through this morning
I noticed my husband doesn’t remember what I eat every day
At first I was offended, but then I realised why would anybody be remotely interested in what their partner is eating all day…?
The re is special kind of evil, when your own mother notice your appearance more than anything else
You gain some weight: Oh I hope you’re going to lose this extra weight, I know you can
You lose some: Oh god, you’re only nose!
You do absolutely nothing: Are you tired today?
I'm reading all of this stories about SSRI, my doctor prescribed me some as support to my psychotherapy.
I took it for 8 months, including one month of increase reduction. It worked... as placebo I think, but it did its job.
Everything came back to normal except
Instead of lifelong shame issues. By the way, I’ve always been in very healthy shape. But apparently is never enough if your sister is extra slim and your mom is bulimic
One piece of advice that I would give my younger self is
instead of worrying all the time about how you look, because your parents won’t stop comparing you to your sister
Find a sport that you can tollerate, and focus that energy on this sport and you’ll get a lifelong benefit
Man making fun of women who cannot make up their minds not knowing what they want…
Same man think she’s demanding and aggressive for speaking their mind clearly and directly.
You can not win… :(
I spoke with the mom of one of the girls (Mayah) and got the entire story that the media is covering up and lying about.
So first of all, the reporting got the names of the girls mixed up. There were 3 girls who were there who were accosted and attacked by the migrants.
Lola - Lola is the hero from the video. She's the one with the axe defending her sister from the migrant attackers
Ruby - Lola's older sister who was attacked and hospitalized
Mayah - Ruby's best friend who was with them and went to call the police after Ruby was attacked by the migrants
Here's the summary of what happened from Mayah's mother:
"Yes. So what happened was the girls where out just walking and the man in the picture made comments to lola(the younger girl) calling her sexy and other sexual remarks then the girls started to tell this man to leave them alone and stop following them and making sexual remarks to them. After that the man's sister (also in the picture) came around the corner and physically attacked ruby(the older sister) she grabbed her hair dragged her to the floor started to punch her then both the man and woman where kicking her in head while she was on the floor. At this point my daughter (mayah) called the police so my daughters account after that is all abit blurry. But that is when lola had the weapons she pulled them out to protect ruby. After that the man came back at lola recording her making sure she showed the weapons to the camera and antagonising her. Ruby was hospitalised after the attack with a severe concussion a tennis ball sized lump to the back of her head aswell as lots of bruises."
1./ 🧵Why are LGBTQ+ organisations so terrible at child safeguarding? My latest essay argues trans ideology is not the only reason. Worse is the historic refusal by gays to acknowledge our movement was started by men who saw paedophiles as brothers in arms. Fasten your seatbelts.
Abortion is currently legal in England and Wales up to 24 weeks, but only under the Abortion Act 1967 - and even then, it must be approved by two doctors. After 24 weeks, abortion is only allowed in very limited circumstances, such as serious risk to the woman’s life or severe fetal abnormalities
However, abortions that happen outside these legal rules - especially after 24 weeks - are still technically criminal offences under two very old laws: the Offences Against the Person Act 1861 and the Infant Life (Preservation) Act 1929. That means a woman who ends her pregnancy outside the legal framework could be investigated, arrested, or even imprisoned. And in recent years, some women have faced prosecution under these laws
Tonia Antoniazzi, a Labour MP, put forward an amendment to remove that threat of prosecution for women. She pointed out that fewer than 1% of abortions happen after 24 weeks, and those that do are usually in heartbreaking or complex situations. Her argument was that these women should be treated with compassion and medical care - not with criminal charges
MPs were given a free vote on the issue (meaning they didn’t have to follow party lines) and voted in favour of her amendment by a large majority. It doesn’t change the 24-week legal limit. It just removes the ability to prosecute women under criminal law in these rare cases. Doctors and violent partners can still be prosecuted if they break the law by forcing an abortion
This is totalitarian insanity. If you think small children should be punished for being able to recognise sex, you are a dangerous zealot who should be nowhere near kids or in any position of authority over them. https://t.co/IZI0sP58ss
"I just found out I'm being oppressed. I saw it on CNN, a white lady said it... Nobody knows blacks struggle like white women. And I thought I was having a good life until I got basic cable."
After much delay and deliberation @WorldRowing has voted by 88% to protect the female category. The World Rowing Congress at the Olympic Museum in Lausanne, Switzerland, was attended by 62 nations who debated the matter at considerable length.
WRN is pleased that the word gender has been replaced by the word sex in the new rules. Thank you to @BritishRowing chairman @markxdavies who steered the proposal for changing the eligibility criteria based on sex. We hope that other sports will follow.
