@eNCA Well the writing is on the wall does it take a rocket scientist to figure out thousands of jobs were lost last week because @MYANC "did not know" looters would distroy everything in their path! Well they know now and everything in our economy must open to save jobs!
@PaulivW@Eusebius I know this isn't Hollywood&we don't have an FBI. But we've now repeatedly heard that You know who the instigators are. Why haven't you kicked down doors, made very public arrests? Frozen Bank accounts? Confiscated passports? Demonstrate to us you are on top of these people Sir!
A group of Mahikeng residents stopped a number of people who were attempting to loot shops. No supermarket or shop has been looted in Mahikeng CBD at this point. The group has vowed to protect the city and its shops #SABCNews#ShutdownSA
@TebogoPhakedi@SABCNews Fantastic job🙌🙌🙌so proud of my fellow South Africans protecting their town and livelihoods your families can be so proud of you thank you for your service🙏
@ewnupdates@tshidi_lee 🧐nope he only can arrest surfers and civilians trying to make an income during a world wide pandemic, criminals can do as they please! We cannot have a drink in our local restaurant but you can loot every shop you come across🤷♀️
Last year 70 000 troops were deployed to humiliate, arrest, shoot and beat people to death for buying groceries, going to the beach or enjoying a drink in their own backyards.
Now our cities are being looted and burnt to the ground and they’re nowhere to be seen.
Have a drink in your own backyard and the military will beat you to death with a machine gun.
Burn down an entire city, set trucks and police vehicles alight, stone civilian cars, loot and destroy business… and the president will politely ask you to stop.
Where is BhekiCele? His commissioner? At a time like this they should be giving out info and reassuring peace-loving SAns that the situation is under control. There is a massive leadership vacuum and it’s filled by social media and the nefarious. “Leaders” are absent, cowering.
@ewnupdates When level 5 lockdown took place we watched Bheki Cele and his police force arrest surfers threatening us with his big guns and yet today he is no where to be found 🤷♀️ honest hard working people arrested yet looters are running wild😡
Just remember that the police can and will arrest you for violating lockdown regulations while the military abuse your human rights, but none of these entities will be deployed to do their actual jobs in various towns and on major highways where lawlessness is currently rampant.
Tonight law-abiding folk will get told to stay home. Leisure & liquor businesses told to stay closed. Churches and gyms remain limited. Wonder what the arsonists/looters are going to get told? Staying legal hurts the lawful & the economy. Rioters get compromises while destroying
@Radio702 alcohol industry employees also need their salary they might produce a product you feel is causing harm but the same goes for cars, drivers are reckless and cause accidents yet we still make cars🤷♀️ u don't want it, don't buy it! Give everyone the right to earn a income!
Zuma will be arrested & jailed for defying the ConCourt! If this doesn’t happen, then we can kiss our Constitutional Order good bye! No one, not even a sitting president, must defy the highest court in the land with impunity! Do the right thing #ArrestZuma, with no hesitation!
@eNCA Do we have a say...No! They will do what they want as they have done through out the pandemic...put themselves ahead of the nation they are supposed to be serving! In their eyes we must be happy with the scraps that fall off the table!
@News24 This man gets his salary every month! He has no Sympathy for the people losing jobs in the industry its not just alcohol industry effecteded wake up its also the following glass, tourism, restaurants, grape farmers ect donate ur salary to these people Mr Cele!
