.@BernieSanders , it is a time to celebrate. @elonmusk has created enormous value for society by building @SpaceX, driving down the cost of rocket launches and creating a global satellite communication network that has brought high speed, low-cost internet and communication access to hundreds of millions and eventually billions of people along with critical advantages for our military and our nation’s defense.
SpaceX and its technologies will cause an acceleration in the growth of wages and wealth creation globally, including in some of the poorest communities in the U.S. and around the world.
Access to low-cost, high speed communications everywhere will allow children around the world to be educated, families to build businesses, and life-saving medical knowledge and care to be available everywhere.
SpaceX will materially bring down the cost of compute, advancing AI and humanity.
Meanwhile, 4,000 SpaceX employees yesterday became millionaires, including hourly wage employees who you claim you are trying to help.
The Elon Musks of the world drive growth, global GDP, and provide access to goods and services at lower cost that would otherwise not exist.
Elon’s nominal trillionaire status is due to his ownership of SpaceX, Tesla, Neuralink, the Boring Company and his other initiatives that have brought new technologies that improve our everyday lives.
Elon is not sitting on a trillion dollar pile of cash, jewelry and gold. He is using his controlling stakes in his companies to advance mankind. Elon’s companies don’t pay dividends. They reinvest all of their capital to accelerate innovation and value creation.
Elon is working 24/7 for all of us. He deserves respect and appreciation, not smears.
Bernie, your socialism would never allow a SpaceX to be built. Socialism has only proven to impoverish mankind and lead to death and destruction.
We need to create the conditions for more SpaceXs to be built, not attack the great entrepreneurs who are helping to advance our country.
Morgan Stanley's Adam Jonas says he recently competed a 1,400-mile round trip from New York to Michigan and back, and @Tesla's FSD drove 99% of the miles. “It's a game changer.”
“Having your hands off the wheel and feet off the pedals for nearly 12 hours of driving is a real game changer that is hard to appreciate without experiencing it for yourself. I have used FSD basically every time I have driven for the past 18 months,” he said.
“I am not exaggerating when I say that FSD did over 99% of the miles. Aside from two sudden torrential downpours—one on the Pennsylvania Turnpike & one in the suburbs of Detroit—and some minor maneuvering around McDonald’s and Arby’s parking lots, I really didn’t touch the wheel,” Adam added.
“FSD made no mistakes or close calls that I recall. The system handles highways very safely and confidently. I cannot imagine buying another EV without FSD. It's a game changer—the tech changes how I think about long-distance road travel.”
Adam drove his 2021 Model Y (HW3, FSD Supervised v12.6.4). He loved the Supercharging experience along the way. He finished saying that the $8k he paid for Tesla's FSD feels like a "bargain."
Adam's $TSLA price target: $410
STARLINK: Jake Butler, Senior Partnerships Manager at SpaceX, announced that SpaceX and Salt Mobile successfully conducted Europe’s first Starlink Direct-to-Cell messaging test in Switzerland.
Per Jake, "We are thrilled to demonstrate messaging capabilities with Salt in Switzerland and look forward to commercially supporting everyday connectivity and life-saving use-cases in regions here that are without connectivity today, while additionally providing resiliency during times of natural disasters or extreme events."
The 🇨🇭 Swiss Federal Government (UVEK) commissioned a scientific study on e-mobility, and the result is anything but surprising: switching to electric vehicles is worthwhile.
The sooner this happens, the better it will be for the climate and society.
But what is happening? The study is not being published. Because it allegedly "contradicts the mood on the market" and "could be interpreted by certain media as a political manoeuvre".
WTF!
Scientific findings are being actively suppressed because they are politically inconvenient. And this is happening in the midst of a phase in which we need fact-based decisions on climate policy more urgently than ever.
This is happening every day and triggered by the oil & gas lobby.
