Even during the war, we never forget the tragedy of Babyn Yar, the tragedy of the Holocaust. This tragedy was so immense because the world was too slow and silently watched as the fascists carried out their aggression. The tragedy of Babyn Yar is an example of why today the world cannot stand aside, silently observing Russia’s aggression.

Today, on the 84th anniversary of the Babyn Yar tragedy, I honored the memory of those who perished in the mass Nazi executions. At Babyn Yar, the Nazis killed about one hundred thousand people during the occupation. They destroyed almost the entire Jewish community of Kyiv, as well as representatives of other nationalities.

Russia's targeted strike on a Danish humanitarian demining team from @DRC_dk in the Chernihiv region, which killed two people, is a grave war crime, and its perpetrators must be held accountable.

Russia once again demonstrates complete disregard for international humanitarian law and basic human rights by deliberately attacking humanitarian workers while they are doing their job.

Head of the Security Service of Ukraine Vasyl Maliuk delivered a report regarding today’s operation. An absolutely brilliant result. A result achieved solely by Ukraine. One year, six months, and nine days from the start of planning to effective execution. Our most long-range operation. Our people involved in preparing the operation were withdrawn from Russian territory in time. I thanked General Maliuk for this success of Ukraine. I instructed the Security Service of Ukraine to inform the public about the details and results of the operation that can be disclosed. Of course, not everything can be revealed at this moment, but these are Ukrainian actions that will undoubtedly be in history books. Ukraine is defending itself, and rightly so – we are doing everything to make Russia feel the need to end this war. Russia started this war, Russia must end it. Glory to Ukraine!

Today, I had the honor of joining the conference "Building Bridges Through Justice: Overcoming the Consequences of Russian Aggression" organized by @EUAM_Ukraine

Transitioning from wartime to postwar justice is a strategic priority for Ukraine. And ensuring comprehensive support for the victims and witnesses of this war is one of the greatest challenge for the criminal justice system.

Today’s conference was an opportunity to discuss further joint actions. Through the combined efforts of state institutions, international partners, and the expert community, we have a unique chance to build an effective support system unlike anything that currently exists in the world.

Through coordinated and systemic efforts, we can ensure respect, support, and justice for those who have suffered from the crimes of the Russian aggressor.
