The newest member of the pygmy hippopotamus family at Berlin Zoo has been named #Brötchen (Bread Roll).
Berlin Zoo announced this on Wednesday. Zoo director Andreas Knieriem explained,

"Giving food names to animals seems to be a popular internet trend right now. Or rather, people in Berlin knew decades ago that those little, round snacks made perfect animal names."
