@KatieHorneshaw 2/2 also yes I read stuff about prescribing heroin seems to work well with long term chronic heroin users that OST hasn’t worked for, no? Studies on it over the years use that population but interesting to wonder could it help new users 🤔

@KatieHorneshaw 1/2 Interesting thread. Just to throw this into the mix - diagnosis of SUD can be helpful to give treatment providers a set of symptoms to work with. In my opinion I find words like clean/dirty urine stigmatising more so that SUD.
