@KirstieMAllsopp Is it the stamp duty that is wrong or the price of houses in London? If they were buying in Yorkshire then no one would blink an eye. To go from a flat to the considerable property you would get for this type of money would seem to warrant some kind of wealth tax.
@RichardBurgon One MP who cares about people. The most vocal opponent to cuts affecting the disabled, campaigns for children whether that is stopping the bombing in Gaza or better services here and actively supports his constituents through casework. Proud to call him my MP.
@RupertLowe10@RichardBurgon Great constituency MP. Manages to follow up case work for constituents, supports local organisations and campaigns and speaks in Parliament about things that matter.
@BasedMillwall@AngelaRayner Not sure who you define as a foreigner but this is less than 2% of the population and no doubt includes all kinds of benefits. Wonder how many UK nationals are benefitting in other countries.
@KirstieMAllsopp Although the theory only works if you talk and look at your child while walking. No point in having a backwards facing stroller of you are scrolling your phone while pushing.
@CaptainSwing666@TheNorfolkLion Bet she would complain if she had to visit a hospital in Benidorm or Crete and they only had signs in Spanish or Greek.
@Kmill1875@RichardBurgon He definitely is not. As one of his constituents I know that people voted for him because he will argue with how own party from the left. Taxing the rich is the answer, not giving the rich even more tax breaks as Reform would do.
@charliersmith1 They live in some alternative universe. You look average size with a pleasant face. I expect you have a fulfilled life unlike the critics who are so busy air brushing photos, following diets and covering themselves in make up to enjoy theirs.
@dazcookcook@HitsWYorksNews Have you ever been to Bradford? The UNESCO World Heritage site at Saltaire, Cartwright Hall, Alhambra Theatre, Science and Media Museum, the amazing moors, woods and becks? A region that produced the Brontes, Priestley, Delius and Hockney. A young creative population, where else?
@Markavfc1979@Bradford_TandA It has brought money into the city. Yes cuts make me sick too but they are not connected to year of culture. Let’s use this year to be proud of Bradford and fight for better resourcing while the city is in the spotlight.

@DadsThatTravel Favourite visit on list was to Angor Wat, make sure you spend a few days to explore not just rush around a few main sites. I think the Alhambra should also be on the list.
@DadsThatTravel We flew from Manchester via Lisbon with TAP. We stopped over in Lisbon, good for Christmas decorations and markets, which was a good way to acclimatise to hotter weather.
@Libs_in_Leeds@UniversityLeeds@theleedslibrary Anyone with a ticket we will be meeting in the Treasures of the Brotherton Gallery at Leeds university. You might want to get there early so you can have a look at the gallery’s exhibition before we set off.
@StephenMoss_TV@bbceducation Also a great ambassador for spiders. She wrote the book Spider! to encourage children to learn about and learn to love spiders.
