حضرت. وقفت. لم تتكلّم. ولم تكن بحاجة لأن تفعل.
اليوم، حبس لبنان أنفاسه. لقد أطلّت فيروز، ملاذنا الأخير، نشيدنا الصامت. السيدة. روح الوطن المفكّك الذي لا يعرف كيف يعبّر عن حزنه … إلا بها.

تحت أشعة الشمس الحارقة، بثوبها الأسود والطرحة السوداء، سارت بإيمان عميق كأنها من هيبة منحوتة من الحزن.
اختارت الاحتجاب لأكثر من عقد. لكنها اليوم مشت بين الآلاف في جنازة ابنها … بصمت أمّ تُدفن للمرة الثانية.

رغم انكسارها من الداخل، أومأت برأسها لكل فردٍ حضر، شاكرةً، ممتنّة.
في عينيها حزن لا يُوصف، لكن أيضاً رجاء … رجاء المؤمنين بأنّ الموت ليس النهاية، وأنّ اللقاء ممكن بعد الرحيل.

أومأنا برؤوسنا.
فاليوم، لم نودّع زياد فقط. بل ودّعنا جزءاً من لبنان النقي، معها، من خلالها، لأجلها.
