Seeing Beyond Sight tour presented thoughtful scenario that asks living building to have facilities for blind people. As I closed my eyes only listening to the audio, I was actually put in the the scenario. It was very thoughtful and creative tour. #1102archsound

This weekend I watched a movie called "A Quiet Place". It was about a world haunted by creatures that hunts any people or living things that projected sound. Basic acoustic studies were shown in the movie such as muting sounds using different patterned walls. #1102archsound

Working on the living building tour made me realized that everything within this tour is the things we learnt in this class: using different forms of data and resource usages, visualizing in different scenarios, analyzing influence of sound, equity issues. #1102archsound

I think the power of sound comes from its ability to carry emotions and meanings. For instance, certain codes of music brings out certain emotions in people. Therefore, sounds are able to change the world we live in. #1102archsound

Watching the documentary Ever the land right now! The tension between the tribe and the government reminded me of the book The edication of a little tree that talks about a tension between the way of life of local tribes and the government. #1102archsound

The sound that space generates is very unique. Therefore, documenting specific sounds can be very difficult. I need to find out a time period when the space produces the most generic sound to get the representative sounds. #1102archsound
