Hey @ZEE5India, paid for an Annual 4K subscription but World Cup matches were locked behind another paywall. The upgrade page was broken, support didn't help, and I had to buy another subscription. Stream quality looked closer to 720p than 4K.

Never again.

Why am I being asked to get a new subscription while I already have a ₹1,499 one?

I have an active ZEE5 Annual 4K subscription worth ₹1,499, valid till June 2027. I assumed a premium annual plan would let me watch the FIFA World Cup 2026.

Yesterday, when I tried to watch the opening ceremony, I was hit with a paywall. 🧵

2/ The Android app shows me a FIFA World Cup 2026 + All Access offer.

But when I tap it, it gets stuck on "Redirecting you to payment gateway".

On my laptop, ZEE5 either shows errors or asks me to buy a new plan.

No response from support so far.
