my mom - more complicated story - we’ve had a few years where we’ve gone no contact at my insistence, then sort of been okay till we weren’t, then she insists on no contact for a few months - wash, rinse, repeat - we’ve been in family therapy on again and off again, but it only seems to underscore the difficulty
