@xaaliyahholtx@theBrianaMills A big one I’ve seen recently is being required to have a driving licence when the job has nothing to do with driving and is also not in a rural area that you would need to drive to. Yet another way to weed out disabled people.
not gonna lie I stopped liking louise soon as she tried to claim she had ‘mild autism’ (there is no such thing). This is not me being anti late/ self diagnosis I just wish people wouldn’t use terms are being used to cause harm to autistic people and deny them support
The job centre really do be wild. They told me to apply for a job as a deliveroo driver. I told them I don’t drive, they said ‘just buy a bike’.
I have a physical disability 🤦♀️
will forever be angry about how nimbus have taken over so many access schemes and made it so much harder for disabled people to get the help they need to access venues and events.
Schrödinger's Neurodivergence: it's not really a disability and therefore you should get no support and are perfectly capable of working, but if you act in a way very common for your condition in the workplace then it's only correct that you be disciplined and let go.
"Uhhhhh if what you're saying is true then basically every day would be a struggle and even achieving basic things would take an inordinate amount of effort, so clearly it's not true" yeah about that
