@Oremy700 @NBCDFW It absolutely does take years to fix. In fact, I believe it was a whole decade ago that the state power system failed after a winter storm similar to the one this year. Texas has had years to fix this, or at least, they've had years to at least try to fix this.

These are programs that provide permanent housing and are proven to be extremely effective in combating homelessness. Plus, they're more cost-effective than just throwing people into jail. As in, you pay fewer taxes over time

It criminalizes "sitting, lying, or sleeping outdoors" in public places. It's not criminal to be homeless, but Abbott isn't making it any easier.

@tapiocamamii actually, I highly prefer being able to see everyone in the entire bathroom after standing up from the toilet. meadows bathrooms are superior and provide ultimate comfort.
