If you’re from Belarus, you have a well-established online exchanger there, Whitebird. It works with cards from different banks. But first you need at least an account on a crypto exchange or a cold wallet. Read everything carefully. Just don’t buy crypto through P2P. Too many scammers.
A little about the stock market. My most profitable trades were buying the dollar at 60 and selling at 100, and some shares of American Moderna, the Covid vaccine company, which I sold at +30% during the 2022 Christmas rally. My worst trades were Russian company stocks. All of them. 1. Whatever I earned on Gazprom in 2021 on expectations around Nord Stream 2, I lost five times more in 2022 after dividends were canceled. 2. Lost on Rosneft when the war started. 3. Now Sber is sending greetings to investors. But I’m smarter now 😏
The other day I went to exchange money. The guy behind the counter counted my money about five times. Then he counted the dollars he was giving me another ten times. I put the stack in my wallet and went home. At home I checked and realized something was wrong. Instead of $1,250, I had $2,550.
Crypto is dead. Again. Meanwhile Morgan Stanley is adding Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana trading for clients. I swear crypto gets buried faster than banks can add a “Buy” button. But there’s a nuance: Wall Street entering the market doesn’t make it safe. It only confirms that crypto has become too big to ignore. Crypto is growing up. And we’re still buying in euphoria and selling in panic. What do you think — did banks actually start believing in crypto, or did they just see where the money is?
hese are fundamentally different things. Bybit has its own bank account where you can make transfers, top-ups, etc. And in terms of security, my funds are held on one of the world’s largest exchanges. You can pay with it worldwide. And then there’s a bot for QR payments with a fee. QR isn’t available everywhere either. It’s more useful for people who already have crypto and want to pay in Russia through SBP without cashing out, but with a fee. And there’s no guarantee the project won’t shut down tomorrow, or that access to Telegram won’t disappear 🤷♀️ and then the money is gone.
f you’re going to Batumi, here’s what you need to know. Good exchanger on Chavchavadze Street. Nearest supermarkets to Orbi City: 1. Black Sea Mall supermarket, 20 Tbel Abuseridze St. Open until 21:30, not expensive. 2. Grand Mall, 29 Sherif Khimshiashvili St. Open until 22:00. From boutiques to low-price stores, plus a food court.
