Yesterday at 21:27 I received this emergency alert on JBR, Dubai: potential missile threat, seek shelter immediately.

Sirens went off, streets cleared quickly. Fortunately, the situation resolved without further incidents.

At 10:53 AM here in JBR, Dubai, we received a startling emergency alert regarding a "potential missile threat". The message from the MOI (Ministry of Interior) instructed everyone to seek shelter immediately.
The sirens were blaring, and the streets cleared out in minutes. It’s a very tense Sunday morning for the Marina area. Fortunately, the situation seems to have calmed down for now.

The efficiency of the UAE’s emergency response is world-class. In less than half an hour, we went from sirens on the streets of JBR to a complete "business as usual" status.

Good news: After 12 days, my @RevolutApp account is partially back. I was finally able to use my card at a store — basic needs are finally covered.
But the story isn’t over yet:
• The funds I sent to my backup card for security are still pending.
• Despite being "Verified," the transfer is only expected by March 10.
After spending 270+ hours without access to my finances in an emergency zone, my lack of trust and the need for a safety net is only natural. Unblocking an account is just the start; rebuilding a client's trust is a much longer journey.
@RevolutApp, thank you for the progress, but let’s complete all pending transfers without further delay. Financial security should be a priority, especially after a crisis. ⏳🤝

I am a verified user, an EU Permanent Resident, and I’ve been locked out of my own life by @RevolutApp for 270+ hours.
The Absurdity:
• X (@X) verified my identity in 1 hour.
• Revolut is still "reviewing" my EU PR, LHV bank statements, and property sale contracts after 12 days.
• Their "specialized team" hung up on me after 85 seconds because they "don't speak my language".
I am in Dubai, where official missile threat alerts are active. Being stuck in an emergency zone without access to MY OWN funds is a nightmare no one should face.
I don't want drama. I just want MY MONEY to stay safe. 🛑🗝️
Revolut admits they can't provide service (they even refunded my fee!) but won't release my funds.
