5 reasons webinars fail Seed–Series A climate teams:
1 - Too slow for 12-month runways
2 - Needs lists you don't have
3 - Big-company optics scare innovators
4 - Hard to AB-test topics fast
5 - No social proof baked in
Swap decks for direct proof.

This means, you gotta:
→ use the language that speaks to their problems
→ offer free value BEFORE making a big ask
But hey, I’m just a random guy on the internet.
Why would you listen to my advice, right?
Your reader is selfish.
Yet most companies love talking about themselves:
“We’re innovative”
“We’re cutting edge”
“We’re the best”.
And the way they collect contacts is even worse.
“Sign up to our updates.”
“Reach out to talk to us.”
“Apply for funding”
Spoiler alert → nobody cares AND you’re missing out on 95% of potential buyers.
Nobody wants to sign up for YOUR updates.
Nobody wants to try YOUR product.
(even if you’re an inspiring climate brand trying to change the world)
What they want is a solution to your problem.
I was offered a free flight ticket to Israel today.
The guy pitched to me first. His pitch sucked. I said I don't work with companies in Israel (where he's based).
We engaged in a debate.
He offered the ticket.
Saying 'come look how it really is!'
If you're from Israel and you think there's no genocide happening in Gaza, please:
- Block me
- Unfollow me
- Tell your friends to do the same
Cuz I'm not gonna support your delusions.
So we might as well avoid each other altogether.
And the way to do it is through the right stories.
I call it The Story Selling Method™ — a mix of stories that engage and stories that convert.
It’s the ultimate way to stand out among the AI-generated crap in 2024.

Have you watched Dune 2 yet?
In March, I studied a fake religion to tell better stories.
I watched the Dune movie and got pretty sold into the whole ‘space messiah’ thing.
As I was watching Paul drink worm juice 💦 I had a weird realization.
🧵
Step 3: Become the “Messiah”.
Paul, the main character, is speculated to be one, and later forced into that role.
Just like the Bene Gesserit wanted the Fremen to see Paul as their Messiah,
you want your ideal audience to see you as their go-to solution to their problems.
