Two reasons to celebrate today. ✨
Cristian Mungiu’s Fjord just won the Palme d’Or at Cannes: a film that will open up important conversations.
And somewhere inside this raw, necessary story is my nephew, one of the child actors. Couldn’t be prouder. 💙
See it when it reaches cinemas this fall.
@CristianMungiu just won his second Palme d'Or at Cannes for FJORD🎉! And I couldn't be more proud. My nephew is one of the child actors in this film. 🎬🌊
Romanian parents. A Norwegian village. A child abuse accusation that tears two worlds apart.
This goes beyond cinema. It opens up difficult conversations about culture, family, identity, justice and the fragile line between protection and misunderstanding in today’s world! https://t.co/sh24I0dZ3N
A fantastic event showcasing the extraordinary diversity of 🇷🇴 research across disciplines: from linguistics and history to physics, medicine, brain sciences, theology & astronomy. Inspiring conversations and ideas that show the power of interdisciplinary dialogue. 🎓✨
Honoured to take part in the event at the @UKParliament organised by @ro_conect marking International Holocaust Remembrance Day.
We remembered all the victims of the Holocaust, including the genocide against the Roma and Sinti. Remembering the Roma does not add another story; it completes a historical truth.
Together with @hidalgo_tenorio , @jlcp10 & @NapoleonKa44195, I’ve published a response to recent claims in Qualitative Inquiry calling for the rejection of GenAI in qualitative research.
