Cameroon urgently needs a dependable international mail and shipping infrastructure.
I have been trying to receive packages from America for over three months with absolutely zero success.
It genuinely feels like Cameroonians are isolated from the rest of the world in ways that are deeply frustrating and unfair.
Breaking News 😳😳🚨
SHAIKH DR. MUHAMMAD ISHAQ KINDO HAS BEEN ARRESTED for disobeying Ibrahim Traore’s order of not praying in Public places like roads etc .
The president said it is good to pray but respect public places , you must not do it on the roads , near hospitals or schools . Respect people and not cause noise or anything . We love religion but don’t be extremists .
The sheik disobeyed him and told his followers to pray everywhere , that the land belongs to Allah 🤦♂️💔.
Moral lesson : If Traore was in Nigeria , this thing happening won’t be happening .
Public order matters. President Traoré’s directive is reasonable: pray freely, but don’t block roads, hospitals, or schools and don’t disturb others. That’s basic respect for shared spaces, not an attack on religion.Disobeying a direct order and encouraging followers to pray anywhere is a direct challenge to authority. In a country fighting serious jihadist threats, maintaining discipline and preventing chaos in public spaces is critical. Religious freedom doesn’t mean the right to disrupt everyone else’s daily life. The moral applies beyond Nigeria — no society can function if any religious leader can simply declare “the land belongs to Allah” and ignore the state."

When I got to the office this morning and saw this new rotating chair, I was surprised.
Because that’s not the chair I was using before. I was using the normal four-leg chair.
So seeing this swivel chair in my office shocked me.
Then I decided to ask around. Immediately I opened my door, I saw my colleague passing, so I asked him about the chair.
He said they replaced the chairs after work yesterday and this one was for my office.
Wow!! I said okay and thanked him.
I was very happy.
I went back to my office and sat on the chair and rotated like two times, and e sweet me o… I was even laughing as I rotated, because it gave me that bossy feelings.
Then I remembered those Nollywood movies where the boss is usually rotating his chair like this and backing anybody entering the office.
Most times, the boss will be talking without even looking at the person.
Then when he finally turns, it usually turns out to be an old friend, ex-lover, classmate or somebody from the village.
And the person will be shocked at how successful the boss has become over time.
I told myself I would also practice this Nollywood boss life when somebody enters my office.
Okay o!!
So since morning, nobody came into my office.
Not until this afternoon when I finally heard a knock.
I quickly adjusted the chair, rotated and turned my back.
Then with fake British accent, I shouted: “Come in.”
The person entered and said: “Good day.”
I answered: “Good day.”
Then I stretched my hand slightly above my shoulder and said: “Let me see the file you have.”
The person then asked: “Are you Miss Chinecherem?”
I answered: “Yes… can I have the file now?”
The person kept quiet for some seconds, so I thought he was probably bringing out the file.
Then he said: “Is this how you work here?”
The tone sounded very harsh.
I quickly rotated the chair to see who was talking to me.
I looked at the man.
Then my eyes landed on our CEO’s portrait hanging on the wall.
Ahhh!!
I looked at the portrait.
I looked at the man again.
I looked back at the portrait.
Wait o…
Is it our CEO??!!
Haaa!!
I had never seen him before because he works at our headquarters and hardly visits this branch aside for inspections.
I immediately stood up and greeted him again without my accent this time. “Good day sir.”
He replied: “But the HR said you are very industrious and handle this office well.”
I said: “Yes sir, that is very true… please sir, I am sorry for what I displayed now.”
He said: “Okay. I will see the HR.”
Then he left.
Since he left, I have not been able to sit on this chair again.
How I wan take explain to this man say na Nollywood movie I dey rehearse?
Heeeyyy!!! Make Una help me oooh! 😭😭

How to make this country great.
1. Fire alll governors, SDOs and DOs.
2. Vote in governors, and mayors at the divisional level.
3. For defense, we need just the army and the police and they should not earn less than 250k a month.
4. Create the ministry of government efficiency to audit every government official once a year.
5. Publish all government transactions online.
6. Abolish the Senate
7. Limit parliament to 100 seats.
8. There should be legislatures at the regional level.
9. At most 10 ministries in this country.
10. Elecam should be an independent body enshrined in the Constitution and it's members not loyal to the president.
11. Codify impeachment into the Constitution.

#BetaPipol In a letter addressed to Cameroon Telecommunications; MTN Cameroon, and Orange Cameroon, the Director General of Customs revealed that starting Monday May 25, 2026, there will be "effective blocking of imported devices not registered".
This measure is in accordance with the provisions of Article 6 of the 2023 Finance Law and the joint MINFI-MINPOSTEL decision of March 25, 2026, concerning the collection of customs duties and taxes on imported devices(mobile phones, tablets, and other digital equipment).
The document specifies that "any connection to the local network of an uncleared device will incur the liability of the permissive telephone company," thus putting pressure on the telecom operators responsible for implementing the system.
Through this new phase of the mechanism, Cameroonian authorities aim to strengthen the traceability of digital equipment circulating within the country and combat the fraudulent importation of phones and electronic devices.

Cameroonians who are not properly educated or haven't traveled dont know what a proper functioning country looks like. This is why we fight even those who speak up against the ills we face daily. Our ability to adapt, even to poor governance and subpar standards is our achilles heel.
I still remember something a woman told me shortly after I got married, advice I haven’t forgotten to this day.
She said, “Start saving your own money quietly. Right now, your husband is still in the excitement of a new marriage. He’ll want to prove his love, give you anything you ask for… but that won’t last forever. Men change.”
At first, it sounded wise. Even convincing.
But deep down, it didn’t sit right with me, so I discarded it immediately.
You see, I was just a third-year university student when I got married. I had no job and no income of my own. Yet, within days of our wedding, my husband made me a signatory to all his accounts.
Think about that for a moment… How many people would do that?
If this man could trust me so openly and completely, why should I begin my marriage by secretly setting money aside? Why should I plant seeds of doubt where trust had already been freely given?
So I chose a different path, one built on openness, trust, and sincerity.
Sadly, my then adviser is now a divorcee.
Today, I share this not to judge anyone but to remind someone out there: Not all advice—especially about marriage—is meant for you. No matter who it comes from—friends, family, counselors, or even well-known voices; relationship therapists; Blessing CEO, etc.— You must understand the uniqueness of your own home.
What works for one marriage may not work for another. There is no one-size-fits-all formula, though there are some bases.
In my humble opinion, marriage should be a place of transparency—where nothing, not even finances, is hidden from each other.
Build your home on trust, not fear.

Let me tell you a little about myself.
I did not start in tech. My background is in Microbiology. Yes, science. No code, no dashboards, no SQL. Just petri dishes and lab reports.
But at some point I realized I wanted MORE. I wanted a career that gave me flexibility, income, and impact. So I made a decision to pivot into data analytics and I have never looked back.
Today I am a Senior Data Analyst. I consult for businesses. I teach data analytics. I have built a community of over 4,000 people across Africa who are learning, growing, and getting hired in tech.
And the one question I get asked more than anything else?

So this Friday, I am answering that question FULLY in a live webinar.
I am going to walk you through:
1. What skills actually matter to employers right now
