After the Green Party's "Zionism is Racism" vote, the Leader of Haringey Council, which is controlled by the Greens, wrote to various Synagogues in the borough to "reassure" them.
I want to show you Highgate Synagogue's reply. I believe it is worth reading in its entirety.
Try to imagine the reaction from the Islamists and pro Palestine propagandists like Owen Jones, Mehdi Hasan, Tucker Carlson etc if instead of this young man being executed (for a hastily deleted social media post criticising Islam) by Saudi Arabia - the man was being executed by Israel (for being rude about Judaism).
We all know, without a shadow of a doubt that it is all we would be hearing about. It would lead the news cycle. His face would appear on protest posters at every event. Celebrities would be lining up to appear in yet another solemn video berating Israel for being uniquely demonic. Singers would be chanting his name to their audiences. By now we would all know his name.
But instead, nothing. Zero. Why?
We know why the Islamists and anti semites behave like this. And the celebrities, who think they will benefit personally from joining this latest mass hysteria. But how about the ordinary followers? The kind of people we’ve known for years and who began reposting ‘River to the sea’ type slogans after the Oct 7 atrocity. Does this glaring inconsistency make them think at all? How do they explain it?
The main lesson I have learned since October 7 is that while Israel will be fine - no matter what its enemies throw at it - it is the UK and other nations in Europe that are in deep, deep trouble.
Tomorrow, October 7th, in London, the Met Police and the Home Secretary Shabana Makmood, have signed off and supported a march by Muslims to celebrate the torture and murder of Jews. This tells you who they are. This tells you what they are. This is a disgrace. This is not England. This is Islamic Britain. The government of this country, the police and the mayor of London, the Muslim Sadiq Khan, are celebrating the murder of Jews. This is what Germany looked like and felt like with the state sponsored pogrom of Kristallnacht in 1938. This is where we are now.
The Nazis traded Albert Einstein for this.
They so thoroughly shattered European civilization with their massive psycho mid century genocide against Jews and Slavs that Europe never psychologically recovered and now 85 years later even the most basic forms of European nationalism are taboo and demonised due to the evil of the Nazis
There is a direct through line from the Nazis destroying European civilization in a hellfire of genocide and mass slaughter to contemporary Europeans being so demoralised and suicidal that they cannot defend themselves from the Mirpuri rape gangs of Britain, the Cologne New Year sex attacks, Manchester Arena suicide nail bombs against children, the Bataclan - and now low IQ banlieue enjoyer riff raff lighting French women’s faces on fire in the street.
Maybe the worst trade in the history of trade deals trading Albert Einstein and Nobel Prize winning German Jewish scientists for third world jihadis?
Thanks Nazis for psychologically raping Europe for 85 years.
Some numbers tell a dispositive story.
1939: 40 million Arabs in the world.
2026: 450 million Arabs in the world
1939: 17 million Jews in the world.
2026: 16 million Jews in the world
1939: 4 sovereign Arab states
2026: 22 sovereign Arab states
1939: 0 sovereign Jewish states.
2026: 1 sovereign Jewish state
Tell me again what the argument is about.
Britain is choosing to swap one of the most integrated immigrant success stories it’s ever had - the Jews - for a community whose membership blew up the London Underground, stabbed people on London Bridge and cut off Lee Rigby’s head
Emerging from our festival of Simchat Torah tonight, I was appalled to hear that the Green Party had passed its ‘Zionism is Racism’ motion earlier today.
It was the Soviet Union which first promoted the dangerous lie that Zionism is racism. The UN adopted it, but was then shamed into revoking it.
Those in the Green Party and beyond who resurrect this discredited and dangerous slander should not imagine that history will judge them kindly.
All decent people will see this for what it is: poisonous antisemitism, a threat to British Jews and to Britain.
I would encourage those who wish to understand what Zionism truly is to read my essay from 2024:

I spent over two decades in counterterrorism and I’m still involved in many ways, so here are my views on what I see has happened over the past 24-36 hours in the UK:
Five British men in their twenties were arrested on Sunday near RAF Fairford on suspicion of explosives offences and the preparation of a terrorist act. On Monday they were released on police bail.
That’s not what the terrorism clock looks like when the investigators are still in charge of it.
Under ordinary UK criminal law a suspect can be held for 24 hours, stretched to 36 by a superintendent, and to 96 hours by a magistrate.
But under section 41 of the Terrorism Act the first hold is 48 hours, not 24 hours. A judge can then extend it, in stages, up to 14 days without a charge. If the case merits it, it can even be pushed to 28 days. That 14-day cap exists for exactly this kind of file of vans, an airbase the United States uses, a possible foreign hand, explosives (if there were any) and interviews that are not finished on the first night.
Counter-terrorism police said the inquiry isn’t over. They said conditions apply. They said a state link has not been ruled out. Those sentences he said only make sense if the evidence trail was still live. A live trail is why Parliament built the two-week window.
But watching the guy read out the statement showed me in his body language, tone and eye movements that releasing those five men was NOT his or his department’s decision.
Walking five men after roughly a day is what you do with a pub fight, not with a suspected terrorist attack on a bomber base.
I’ve sat in enough interrogation rooms to know the difference between a custody clock and a political ceiling. Nobody had to shout an order down a phone. Someone in the political building above the investigators decided that charging British nationals on Monday, with Iran already denying it, Washington watching the runway, and a Labour conference where the main topics of discussion were prioritizing Palestinian and other refugees settling in the UK, was uglier than bail and a holding statement.
The law allowed them to keep the door shut. Yet the door opened anyway in half of the most minimum time.
That’s the story. That for me is the only story here. Not “they were innocent.” Not “the case collapsed.” The statute was not exhausted, but the appetite was.
The real question is who, and most importantly, why?
This story has broken me. It has unleashed a rage so strong I can barely express it, but allow me to try.
Above all, I am angry with the decades-long malevolent incompetence of the British state: politicians of all parties, the judiciary, the civil service. Their collective uselessness has shattered the social contract and made us all poorer and less safe. In just 25 years, they have led us from an affluent, high-trust society to a broken, low-trust one.
I am sickened by the growth in sectarian politics. I am appalled by the foreign ghettos in our cities and imported, bent voting practices and resultant corruption in some of our councils. I hate seeing the clothing of female oppression on our streets. I am sickened by the fact our Jewish community lives under siege.
I no longer wish to pay tax to support those who have come here illegally and should be removed immediately. It is to our shame that we have accepted mass immigration without insisting on integration. I am tired of being told that a British passport makes a foreigner as British as me. I assure you that the “British citizen” in this story is not. I am saddened that for so many people, the concept of “British” is essentially meaningless.
I am sick of the obsession with a minor war 2,500 miles away that barely affects us. I despise that £88m of our tax money is going to Hamas (because it will), when the tax burden is a record high, everything is expensive, welfare spending is out of control and we can’t even pay for our own defences when the global risk of conflict is the highest it has been since the end of the Cold War. And in spite of how much of our money the government steals from our pockets, nothing, at all, in this country works. Healthcare, transport, education - all broken.
It is a stain on our national politics that we have five Gaza MPs. It is our national shame that our government is intent on sucking up to the Palestinian entity which contains some of the worst monsters on the face of planet. It is a disgrace that our Foreign Secretary shook the hand of the representative of the Iranian regime that has slaughtered tens of thousands of its own people, and that he doesn’t seem to understand why that photograph will damn him forever. It is embarrassing that we had a Foreign Office minister dancing with and hugging the representative of the Palestinian Authority. The lack of serious statesmanship is mind-boggling and indicative of how far we have fallen.
They say the past is a foreign country, but my goodness, do I miss the country I grew up in. I feel so sorry for the generation that grew up after 2000 and will never know how good it was. It’s not coming back.
I have no time for the demagogues and grifters who exploit this anger. I know other people feel the same as I do, and my goodness, do I understand why people are angry. For decades, those we have elected to govern in our interests have instead run our country into the ground.
And to cap it all, now we are led by fatuous, asinine, deeply unserious airheads who think serious governance is a TikTok video about pork scratchings, as the last vestiges of a coherent society die under the weight of their malignant frivolity.
The worst part of it is that there is absolutely nothing any of us can do about it. I just want to live in a happy, stable, prosperous country like we used to be, instead of one that is run by a state apparatus that does nothing but beat us down, obsess over irrelevances, take our money, and leave us poorer and less safe.
When people like El Sayed and the other DSA imbeciles say they oppose defensive funding to Israel, they are saying they want these missiles to kill Israeli civilians.
And by the way, each of those missiles targeting a civilian area is a war crime
⬇️
What the world demands is that Israelis should have allowed Hamas to run rampage and allowed all these missiles to land without responding. These are missile alerts since October 2023.
They demand that there be no defence to continuous aggression
They demand Israelis die without a fight.
Never.
Let me set the stage:
A fairly well known actor comes out as pro-"Palestine".
The backlash is massive. People hate it.
He loses 1 million IG followers within days. Then, a stageplay he was scheduled to perform in is boycotted so horribly that 80% of the seats are empty.
His producers let him go from his role because absolutely nobody wants anything to do with him.
His support for "Palestine" revolted the entire public.
This did NOT happen in the West. It happened in Tehran, Iran's capital. The actor is Navid Mohammadzadeh, and when he declared his undying love for "Palestine", he kneecapped his own career.
This is who Iranians are.
Nobody hates the "Palestinian cause" more than our people do.
My interview with the brilliant and inspiring Ahmed Fouad Alkhatib
‘He calls those in the “pro-Palestinian” movement the “quote community”, because he says they do not mean what they say. He was stunned by the way they simply aped the Hamas narrative. “At first, I was willing to give them the benefit of the doubt,” he says. “I thought that maybe they were just ignorant. That they were horrified by the avalanche of painful scenery coming out of Gaza, and that had triggered an emotional response that would moderate over time, give way to more rational argument and understanding of the issues. But I saw the ‘resistance’ trend of the ‘quote community’ worsening over time.”
He sees the “quote community” as disparate groups all desperately searching for identity, and using the Palestinian cause to find it.
“For some people, this became a fraternity for expressing an identity. Some elements of the Muslim community who are not Arab want to express, ‘We’re real Muslims, and now we’re going to out-Palestinian actual Palestinians.’”
He adds that another part of the fraternity is what he calls “October 8 pro-Palestinians”, such as those supporting Black Lives Matter, women’s rights and LGBT causes. However, he says that “there are unique characteristics to the Israel and Palestine conflict that you can’t use Western social justice causes to explain away”.
He says the movement also attracts various Islamists, Arabs and Muslims, but only “a small number of Palestinians”. He adds: “While I don’t want to abdicate responsibility for the Palestinian component of the ‘movement’, in the main, what is really driving it is non-Palestinians speaking over Palestinians.”

So on Saturday, I was in Liverpool and I stopped at a pro-Palestine street stall in the shopping district for a chat.
As always - I wanted to know what these activists were actually telling passing members of the public.
What followed was extraordinary. 1/6
