CONCERNS OVER COMMUNICATION AFTER PNVF’S 🇵🇭ALAS PILIPINAS U18 GROUP WAS SCRAPPED AHEAD OF THE UPCOMING COMPETITION:

🎙️: “Sana nag-inform kayo na hindi na kami magre-represent para hindi kami umasa, especially to those who live far away from our training location. Almost all of the teams involved went through the correct process. We joined the PNVF cluster and national meet, and we processed all of our requirements just for this to happen. Note that we used our own money to complete these requirements (e.g., passport, notarization, etc.). We trained for three weeks and only recently found out that they let go of us.

We were very excited because in two days, we thought we were already going to Thailand, but on the same day, we were also informed that all of our sacrifices and hard work went to waste. We truly thought we were going to represent the Philippines. The day before we learned we weren’t going anymore, we had our pictures taken, we were interviewed, and we had our jersey fitting.

Habulin ang may kasalanan, bakit magulo ang mundo ng volleyball sa Pilipinas? Hindi ang grassroots ang problema. It’s a player’s dream to represent their country.”
