@MMcEwanGolf McIlroy switched back into the Qi10 Driver and Fairways this week and bemoaned the yearly product cycle. For a player like McIlroy, who categorically doesn’t need the money, why does he stick with a manufacturer when he could play the equipment best suited to his game?
@RestIsPolitics@RoryStewartUK@campbellclaret A question on AI. You trail sponsors heralding how AI changing the world but can you tell the listeners how you both as individuals are using it? Also, do you have a sense of how it is being used in government? Curious to know if it’s influencing composition of speeches/PMQs
The idea that Scotland's fourth biggest city - and the city closest to St Andrews - will soon have no public golf provision is absolutely outrageous.

@McIlroyRory Generally in favour of the rollback but to your point on in making no difference to the average golfer, it will; shorter off the tee = longer clubs into greens = higher dispersion. More missed greens/lost balls = slower pace of play. Irrefutable?
Big misses are going to happen. They happen to everyone.
I hear some amateur golfers say:
"I should NEVER miss a fairway by a large amount."
Take a look at the image below. Rory is 50 yards left of the left edge of the fairway. That is a big miss.
Of course we all want to reduce how often we miss big. One of the biggest keys to getting better is reducing the number of horrible shots you hit.
But big misses still happen. Even to Rory, who is arguably the best player to ever swing the driver.
What can you do?
It's over. You can't change it. When I do this I perform breathing exercises while walking to the ball. Box breathing is typically what I do.
Then:
1. Find the ball
2. Pick a good target for the next shot
3. Commit to the target
4. Hit the shot
5. Go back to step 1
