High intelligence often comes with heightened pattern recognition. You start noticing social masks, forced conversations, performative friendships, hidden motives, emotional immaturity, and energy that feels draining instead of nourishing. Many highly intelligent people also have more active nervous systems, deeper inner worlds, and lower tolerance for superficial stimulation, so solitude can feel safer than constantly shrinking themselves to fit environments that don't feel aligned.

Lift weights 3-4 times per week. Go on a 20-30 minute walk everyday
You worked hard to reach a level most never do, don’t throw it away because you ignored your health
It’s absolutely mind boggling how our society has normalized dropping our young kids off at daycare five days a week for eight plus hours a day, all so we can endure long commutes to jobs that mostly just cover the steep costs of that daycare, the car eating up gas and maintenance, and a house or apartment we’re barely awake in long enough to enjoy.
We’re stuck in this exhausting hamster wheelworking harder and longer just to afford a life we hardly ever get to live, trading precious family time, presence, and memories for a paycheck that often feels like it barely breaks even.
