@anandmahindra A remarkable story of Genrobotics winning in the face of global competition.
That is only an icing on the cake.
True credit lies in that they chose to work in a mucky space, put engineering in the front of it all & created a means for dignity of our domestic municipal workers.
Do u hv any experiences to share for selling Car thru“Spinny”? Had a +ve one Bkg and getting Inspection done. Had them Calling in, as I was bkg, literally. Then, Evaluation, Feedback left much desired. Agents can reach u when they like, but they are not reachable!! Feel terrible.
@airindia@airindia You may call me if you like!
I don’t have the patience to write things down, after what has been a very unpleasant and exhausting experience….
AirIndia seem to give itself, no hope! Syst.&Proceses (No comn. on Changes, Poor C’bility App, etc - with TCS in the back-end, I presume); many Cust. facing Staff suffer from Attitudinal and Poor Tning issues …. Had very Poor expce. on Aug 8, AI823 that had consequent issues….
@anandmahindra Those words from you, so true @Anand Mahindra…. “Purpose doesn’t retire. Service doesn’t age….”.
I am faced with that struggle at this stage of my life too. Unable to find that “purpose”. “Age” not an issue as yet…. Need guidance….
This is not just another video for me…
When Pawan Goenka decided to return to India in the early ‘90s, leaving behind a job at General Motors, I managed to convince him to join @Mahindra_Auto at Nashik as Deputy Head of R&D
He often relates how when he first went to Nashik and saw the &D ‘shed’ and its rudimentary state, he began questioning his decision to come back.
However, he stayed on, and as the Head of R&D, he led the development of the Scorpio.
He eventually rose to become the MD & CEO of M&M Ltd, and through his entire tenure at the company, laid the foundations of the World class R&D centre we have today.
Post his retirement, he is leading In-Space, a Department of Space company as its Chairman and has been recently awarded a Padma Shri.
When I see Pawan and his wife Mamta buying one of our first electric origin SUVs, I am flooded by emotions and memories of working alongside him.
I see a man who can take pride in helping to propel the Indian Auto Industry into the future; I see a man endorsing and enjoying the fruits of his own labour.
So, as I said, this is not ordinary video for me.
It is a source of pride and joy.
@PriyankKharge See it as equitable redistribution of infra & resources, relieving a city like B’lore, bursting at its seams today. Talent is mobile and “fire in the belly” of talent & opportunities available will facilitate it to relocate. Btw, talent in B’lore is from all parts of India anyway
@anandmahindra I am missing this so much.
We used to watch one in the Golibar Maidan in BDD Chawls, while I was located in the Mahindra Towers Office in Worli.
Dahi Handi is indeed a very apt example of Conviction, Commitment and Collaboration….
@GoenkaPk That’s so encouraging and shows faith in the capabilities and commitment in the private sector. Your own presence in your position is testimony to that as well…. Best wishes for the success of this initiative.
