What a wonderful and hugely attended event for Naperville council candidate Meghna Bansal today at The Matrix Club. One of the larger events that I have seen for a local race. Vote Bansal! Meghna will be great for Naperville! 🇺🇸 🇺🇸 🇺🇸
@NapervilleSun People were upset when they closed it. I was at the Naperville City Council meeting when they spoke during public comment. I’m surprised that Endeavor hasn’t done anything with that space
@TPTBeyond@SafeSuburbsUSA Could be, I just came off KidsMatter’s board after seven years and volunteered for four hours at the job fair on Saturday doing mock interviews (co-sponsored by Park District - 1,000 attendees). I’m sure I’ll see you volunteering at an event like that sometime. Have a great night
@TPTBeyond@SafeSuburbsUSA Again, you need to get out more. I’d put my resume up against anyone in town’s including people on the City Council dais. If you ever decide you want to do more to give back to the community, I’d be happy to give you some guidance, seriously. Naperville’s not all about politics
@TPTBeyond@SafeSuburbsUSA You need to get out more. In fact, come to think of it, I’ve never seen you do anything productive in the community or attend any fundraiser or local event, other than to show up at a city council meeting to make a dramatic rant about something or someone (typically Josh Mcbroom)
@Slothburger69 @SafeSuburbsUSA It’s not a lawsuit. It was a resolution passed by six of her fellow board members, all of whom are Democrats. But you’re not the brightest bulb, are you.
@TPTBeyond@SafeSuburbsUSA Interesting Tim. Many people who’ve served on boards or volunteered with me (from different walks of life and with different political views) would disagree with you, but at the end of the day I don’t really care about your opinion. Enjoy watching MKB disrupt 203 board meetings
To all of our Naperville first responders - police, fire, EMS, 9-1-1 telecommunicators & healthcare heroes - today is a day to thank you for your commitment to public service and selfless sacrifices. Thank you for all you do as part of #TeamNaperville#NationalFirstRespondersDay
Proud to support candidate Aaron Porter, a law enforcement officer who is running for IL State Rep in the 81st District against Rep. Anne Stava-Murray. Great turnout for Aaron’s fundraising event in Westmont last night. @SafeSuburbsUSA
Today, we honored the 136 law enforcement officers that lost their lives in the line of duty in 2023 and recognized those who continue to serve. Thank you to the Naperville community for your continued support of the men and women of the Naperville PD.
@JacobS88314410@SafeSuburbsUSA Agreed, people do not relinquish their Constitituonal rights. On the other hand, if someone elects not to comply with Officers and to fire at them, they should not be made into a martyr when things don’t end well. There seems to be a rush to judgment to fire these Officers, IMO
I’m honored to be the Democratic nominee for Cook County State’s Attorney! Congratulations to Clayton Harris on a hard-fought campaign.
There is so much more that unites us than what divides us. I promise to work tirelessly to help build a safer, stronger Cook County together.
@DRockMiller@SafeSuburbsUSA@RichJanor Fair enough. There was no final vote, but there was an aversion to moving forward. It would never have appeared on the Park Board meeting agenda if Janor wouldn’t have pushed it, and not many in the community would have even known about it
@DRockMiller@SafeSuburbsUSA@RichJanor Derek, with all due respect, I listened to the recording - several Park Board members were not interested in pursuing the plaque and not in favor of moving forward. That seemed fairly clear. They changed their tune at the Park Board meeting after a number of residents spoke

@SafeSuburbsUSA Good question. Very sad and tragic incident, but this was not some mass shooter with an AR-15. It was teens fighting, presumably with illegal guns. Where are the parents?
