@callulamf It's a free market. You deem your service $100, that's your choice. Clients with a $30 budget simply block you and go to an artist with that quote. Funny that my artists made banks over 4 years just by charging reasonably.

@Tipi986814 @nyewkey Just use a three tier system like Fiverr. Base price + full package price for max, and buyers can budget in-between. They also need to work on specific filters so people looking for sketch/lineart/flatcolor can ditch those fancy renders.

@Flip_Uni @nyewkey I only use Vgen because the artist I worked with via Fiverr went there and I support him. This site doesn't realize that by ignoring buyers, they're shooting themselves in the foot. A platform full of sellers but no buyers won't make it.

@Llivstra_vt Issues with price usually happens when clients saw your sample, worked with you only for final result to not be what they "expected". They're okay with what they get, just not for the asking price. And frankly, 4.9 is more trustworthy than 5 IMO.

@Limercury_ The issues seem to stem from artists bundling Monetized content in their ToS, effectively inflating the price for people just wanting to commission for social media content. It's their choice, but people have the right to be upset about that.

@vyragami I use design dolls and other apps to create references, but there are stuff that's so complicate that it's impossible. AI gives me that in one click, and artists get a better visual on what I want them to draw. Refusing that is dumb.

@raituna_art This was vgen's biggest loophole and never utilized properly IMO. It's intended for paywall contents like Patreon/Ko-fi where clients benefit directly from it, but the term makes it look like posting on X/FB is also consider "monetized."
