Jeremiah 33:3
“Call unto me, and I will answer thee, and shew thee great and mighty things, which thou knowest not.”
Follow the WORD OF THE LORD, seek Him, talk to Him, He will fulfill all your needs.
John 15:13. “Greater love has no one than this: to lay down one's life for one's friends.” This verse embodies the spirit of Memorial Day. May everyone have a blessed and safe weekend. Love you all.
@ron_christain “Father” and “Holy Spirit” are not personal names, correct, but Matthew 28:19 still distinguishes three divine persons under one singular “name,” not “names.” The apostles did not reject Christ’s command, Acts emphasizes baptism into Jesus’ authority and lordship.
MATTHEW 28:19
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
Father is not a name.
The Holy Ghost is not a name.
But Jesus is the only name. JESUS.
MOST CHURCHES BAPTISM IS FALSE.
@MahornTodd I have been married 43 years and you sometimes hit bumps. I agree with Cati tho (and this has always been my solution). Draw close to Him and pray.
Good mornin' Folks....
Folks, people are on edge with things going on in the world, in their lives, etc...sometimes people get frustrated and say things they shouldn't, no one's perfect, we are only human...But we should not let our anger get out of control. Don’t do something permanently stupid just because you are temporarily upset!!! Anger is a parasite that drains the life out of anyone who lets it take hold and grow in their heart. Forgive!!! listen to me now Folks, Forgive and be free!!!! Remember this:
1. We need to look for the good in the bad,
2. the happy in our sad,
3. the gain in our pain,
4. and what makes you grateful not hateful.
And.... Remember...God's gotcha folks.... have a gooden
The mountain top sure feels good. But we grow in the Lord when we are in the valleys. Be confident in the word of God. Have faith. Look to Him in your trials and He will bring forth the victory.
You want to know what's actually radical?
Forgiving the person who ruined you.
Praying for the friend who stabbed you in the back.
Loving someone who would never love you back.
Not because feelings are soft, but because Christ commanded it.
Amen
