Coach Holtz touched so many lives. Those that played for him know he was more than just a coach. He was a mentor, motivator and father figure. For those that knew him, he was an inspiration. From humble beginnings to a National Championship at ND, coach was a winner. Notre Dame prides itself on being a “force for good” & coach Holtz epitomized that. My favorite moment with Coach was before he spoke at a charity event for @3andGFoundation. We sat across from each other on benches at the Eck Visitors Center and he talked about his faith. He made sure I put my faith in Jesus Christ and understood what was most important in life. Coach never took a moment for granted to make a difference. Rest in peace Coach

J'aimerais voir son visage en couverture du magazine Time pour son courage extraordinaire à révéler la vérité sur ce qui lui est arrivé. J'ai finalement regardé son interview sur 60 Minutes, et elle était intelligente, éloquente, gracieuse et pleine d'un cœur incroyable. Je n'ai pas pu m'empêcher de pleurer pour tout ce qu'elle a enduré, et la façon dont elle rayonnait d'une lumière si vive malgré tout.

Elle a partagé la vérité même si sa vie était en jeu, parce qu'elle a dit qu'après la naissance de sa fille, elle ne pouvait pas laisser son enfant grandir dans un monde où les hommes s'en tiraient à bon compte après de tels actes horribles. Son plaidoyer continu pour que justice soit rendue a ouvert la voie à la publication des dossiers, permettant à tant de femmes de briser le silence, de trouver du soutien et potentiellement d'obtenir justice.

Elle a partagé son histoire pour protéger les autres, au détriment de sa propre sécurité. Son courage n'a pas seulement ouvert la voie aux autres survivantes d'Epstein, mais des femmes du monde entier partagent maintenant leurs propres histoires d'abus. Elle était une sorte de Bodhisattva — et j'honore son esprit, son cœur, son courage, son dévouement à la justice et son altruisme profond et continu.❤️
