After more than two-years of Padyatra through thousands of villages and small towns of Bihar, we formally started the process of party formation to give a better alternative that would end decades of misery and ensure a better future for the children of #Bihar

Yesterday, the process began with the first of the eight office bearers’ convention before the official launch of the party on Oct 02nd.

Over the next two months 1.5 lakh Jan Suraaj office bearers together with lacs of participating “Sansthapak Sadasyas” of #JanSuraaj will deliberate, and decide on the key priorities of the party; draft and finalize a party constitution, and finally ELECT the leader(s) of the party.

As promised, I will not be seeking any post in the party and will continue with my grassroots outreach for the next many months.

And it all began with the prayer chosen by the people here in an online survey!

The Block Coordinators form a layer of coordination, mentorship and leadership between the vast network of youth club leaders and the state-level JSF team. They are a vital part of our ecosystem.

Jan Suraaj's network of 22K+ youth leaders are federated at the block level, for which they elect Block Coordinators.

The elections are fully run by the padyatris who travel and organise the padyatra. They have been walking shoulder to shoulder with Prashant Kishor for the last 16+ months. These include Santosh, Abhishek NS, Om Prakash, Vishwajeet, Ram, Shams, Abhishek A and many others.

Career update! Recently I joined as CEO of Jan Suraaj Foundation with a mission to develop & empower progressive youth leaders.

With @PrashantKishor's guidance and the energy of our 20K+ youth network in Bihar, I hope to build a powerful platform for Jan Suraaj's youth leaders.

Our 20K+ youth leaders form Youth Clubs to serve their local communities.

This immersive experience, along with regular support, will empower them to become progressive leaders of the future as entrepreneurs, social workers and elected reps.

We are also inspired by Ambedkar’s call for equality and justice.
