@AliceTemple12@TheRealWoldrew@janiehere2@PoppyLegion@UponTyneNews Good evening, I have worked for Mind for a long time as an advocate. PTSD should mean your daughter can apply for a personal budget, sometimes called a direct payment to help manage her condition and fund for example college or training. She should ask her GP or nurse abt this.
@LibDems@helenmaguiremp In 2021 I was diagnosed with prostate cancer and thanks to the excellent care from the NHS, including 39 radiotherapy sessions, I am well. As ex Cllr I fully support Helenโs campaign which will save lives.
I urge everyone to share this post. Disgusting treatment by @waitrose My daughter Sadie Travis used to work with this young man, who is a lovely lad. He deserves better. Shame on Waitrose๐คฌ
@VirginMoney utterly incompetent, uncaring, your stupid AI Bot has rejected my photo ID ten times I have phoned your useless helpline 20 times my Virgin Credit Card and account have been blocked since March. Wrote to you 3 weeks ago - nothing.
#SaveStephen: Stop His Eviction from Old Orchard Care Home Due to Funding Cuts - Sign the Petition! https://t.co/Ww5PeSJ5oY via @UKChange this is overwhelmingly important for Stephen, his mother is his voice, as he has complex special needs & unable to advocate for himself, share
@RightToLifeUK I am an IMCA covering a large hospital and a number of care homes. Financial and other abuse by relatives against the vulnerable is rampant and will increase if the Bill passes.
@MarkNeary1 The MCA is there for a purpose - to protect the vulnerable. Therefore as an Advocate it is my duty to educate doctors to understand they cannot ignore it. I have had cases where the early prognosis wasnโt good but later regained capacity and rescinded decisions made โin best intr
@thelizcarr@isabelle241212 I am a Qualified IMCA and IMHA and I have seen DNAR Notices wrongly filled-in, blanket DNARs done by GPs covering Care Homes. We already have a legal framework in the Mental Capacity Act and to be fair have seen good practice from medical teams on moving towards end-of-life.
@lfeatherstone You may have seen my comment on Libdem Voice the Court of Protection is already overstretched with DoLS cases and applications to end life. How are those who do not have capacity going to be protected?
