I understand that this may seem like a small issue at your level and should normally be resolved by the concerned authorities. However, as a common citizen, I have exhausted every available option.

My stolen iPhone was activated, and the authorities received crucial details related to the person using it. Despite this, I have still not received my phone or any meaningful update regarding the action taken.

I have repeatedly contacted the concerned authorities through Twitter and have personally visited SHERKOTADA Police Station multiple times. Unfortunately, instead of receiving assistance, I was told, "Don't come to the police station every day. Whether you come or not, nothing will change."

As a law-abiding citizen, I reported the theft immediately, cooperated fully, and followed every procedure. Yet, I am still struggling to get a simple status update on my case.

Sir, I humbly request your intervention. I am not asking for special treatment - only for timely action and accountability so that I can recover my phone at the earliest.

I have not received any assistance or response from following authorities despite repeatedly raising matter through twitter and other channels :

🚨 My stolen iPhone was activated, and Ahmedabad Police received crucial details including the user's mobile number, name, and address. Despite having information that could help trace and recover the device, my phone is still not recovered due to delayed action and lack of urgency by SHERKOTADA Police Station.

As a middle-class citizen, it is frustrating to see that even after doing everything expected from me - reporting the theft immediately, following up repeatedly, and sharing every available lead - I am still waiting for action while valuable time is being lost.

If a stolen phone cannot be recovered even after the police receive activation alerts and user details, it raises serious concerns about the effectiveness and responsiveness of the recovery process.

Dear Ahmedabad Police Commissioner @AhmedabadPolice , I request your urgent intervention before further delay causes the investigation to lose critical leads.

📌 Timeline of Events:

• 17 May, 9:30 PM – My iPhone was stolen from Asarva Railway Station.

• Within 30 minutes, I reached SHERKOTADA Police Station and submitted my complaint.

• 18 May – Visited the police station for status; complaint was still not registered.

• 20 May – After repeated follow-ups, my complaint was finally registered, 3 days after the theft.

• Later, I received a suspicious link related to my stolen phone and immediately informed SHERKOTADA Police Station.

• I was asked to wait for IMEI-based tracking updates.

• 3 June, 7:00 AM – I received an official notification that my stolen iPhone had been activated based on IMEI Tacking system.

• The system provided important details including the mobile number, name, and address associated with the device.

• I immediately reached SHERKOTADA Police Station at 9:00 AM and ensured the concerned officer verified the information in the system.

• The officer confirmed that police had received the activation details.

• Despite having these details, no immediate tracing or recovery action was initiated.

• I requested the police to obtain the live location and act immediately based on signal of that SIM Card. I was informed that Cyber Cell had access to such information and police don't have that details of live location of network from which devise operated.

• When I personally visited Cyber Cell, I was informed that the concerned police station should pursue the matter based on the available information.

• 4 June – I again visited SHERKOTADA Police Station, but no meaningful update or action was provided.

❗Most Concerning Fact:

Even after receiving the activation alert and details of the person using my stolen iPhone, including the mobile number, name, and address, I have STILL NOT received my phone because timely action has not been taken.

❗If my phone is not recovered despite the police having all the critical information required to trace it, the responsibility for this failure will lie with the delay in action after the information was received - not due to lack of evidence or leads.

I am ready to provide all supporting documents, complaint records, activation alerts, screenshots, and communication history.

Kindly take immediate action and help recover my phone.

Despite this, I have not received any status update from SHERKOTADA Police Station.
