@Murray_Kinsella He had time to line it up and still went high and lead with the shoulder - reckless
"Mitigation will not apply for intentional or highly reckless foul play"
@Bayeismoozy@itsmeohlord_@praytowin1@sportbible Why would you have to forget you have a religion
Maybe you should remember that other people dont subscribe to your religion - particularly the hateful parts
@Bayeismoozy@itsmeohlord_@praytowin1@sportbible Erm yes
Qatar decided to host a competition that really belongs to the whole world
In doing that they implicitly agree to the rules of the competition, which is ostensibly of unity and inclusion
Now they are having a meltdown about a couple of armbands
@Bayeismoozy@itsmeohlord_@praytowin1@sportbible I dont go, because I dont particularly like regimes that oppress people based on superstition
However, if a country invites the world in, they should be prepared for the world to turn up, not just the bits they dont hate
@Bayeismoozy@itsmeohlord_@praytowin1@sportbible Exactly
If someone say I don't like something why do it
Why persecute gay people and women? They don't like it.
Wearing the armband is making that same point you just made.
@Bayeismoozy@itsmeohlord_@praytowin1@sportbible There is no point
There is no comparison between a wearing a mark of respect for LGBTQ people (even if it means upsetting the people who chose to invite the world into their country) and a mark of pure disrespect
If you cant see that, I really dont know what to tell you.
