Yesterday’s NJ Senate hearing on a bill to gut the Comptroller’s investigatory powers was a disgrace. Senator Beach - with intent and malice- made the AG, the Comptroller, and U.S. Senator Andy Kim sit through five and a half hours of delay tactics before letting them speak.

He had the audacity to ask Senator Kim “What makes you special?” after letting his handpicked “supporters” of the bill speak for 40 minutes first, forcing the Senator to miss his train and votes in DC.

Apologists for this garbage bill can try to obstruct the democratic process all they want, but after that circus yesterday, New Jerseyans see the truth: Trenton is broken, and I'm looking forward to entering the Assembly to be a part of the solution, not the problem.

Wow: According to Murphy admin, health insurance on NJ’s Obamacare exchange will go up an average of 174% next year bc of federal insurance subsidies expiring.

The subsidies have been a key sticking point of the gov shutdown — Ds are tying cont’d subsidies to reopening the gov.
