John Lennon’s assassination on 8th December 1980 is one of the most misunderstood crimes of the 20th century. Here are 21 common and enduring myths about the assassination:
Myth 1 - Chapman shot Lennon in the back four times.
Reality - Medical testimony and police witnesses from the time all stated that Lennon was shot four times in his upper left chest. In a tight professional grouping around his heart.
Myth 2 – The Dakota Doorman was a CIA hitman/employee/agent etc.
Reality - Dakota doorman Jose Perdomo was not Bay of Pigs Jose Perdomo. Their birth dates and ages don’t match up. Ask yourself this - why would one of the CIA’s most infamous covert operators want to work the door at the Dakota for 20 years and why wouldn’t he change his name if he did?
Myth 3 – The doorman Jose Perdomo saw everything.
Reality - Jose Perdomo’s witness statements are still being kept from the public. Piecing together conversation’s other people had at the time with Perdomo, we can deduce that Perdomo probably saw very little. Ironically, considering how often he is discussed online, Perdomo may have in fact not been the actual ‘doorman’ witnesses saw immediately after the shooting.
Myth 4 – Multiple witnesses saw everything.
Reality - No witnesses saw John Lennon being shot by Mark Chapman’s alleged bullets. This includes Yoko Ono. Through a misleading edit, a 2023 Apple TV series implied cab driver Richard Peterson saw John being shot. He did not.
Myth 5 – Yoko Ono saw Chapman shoot her husband.
Reality - In over 46 years, Ono has never said that she saw Mark Chapman shoot her husband. She has had multiple opportunities to do so. The lead detective noted that Ono ‘did not see the shooter’.
Myth 6 – Chapman was a Lennon obsessive.
Reality - Chapman liked all kinds of music. His man musical hero was Todd Rundgren. Chapman was a Beatles fan when he was younger, but who wasn’t at that time?
Myth 7 – Chapman had a hit list.
Reality - This was an invention by the Manhattan’s DA’s office to try and sell the story that Chapman killed for fame and had other targets. After Chapman was convicted, DA Allen Sullivan admitted that there was no ‘hit list’ - it was ‘hypothetical’.
Myth 8 – Chapman was going to kill David Bowie.
Reality - This was an invention by the NYPD. Chapman had no Bowie ‘Elephant Man’ tickets in his hotel room.
Myth 9 – Chapman killed Lennon for fame.
Reality - By foregoing the trial of the century (because ‘god’ told him to) and eventually pleading guilty, Chapman nixed his one chance to be the centre of the world’s attention. After giving two TV interviews 34 years ago, Chapman has declined all other media invitations since.
Myth 10 – Chapman got his album signed by Lennon and this was captured in a photograph.
Reality - There is now strong circumstantial evidence to indicate that the photo is a forgery.

Myth 11 – Chapman called out to Lennon and John turned.
Reality - No first-hand witnesses from the night, including Chapman, has said Chapman called out to Lennon and Lennon then turned. Yoko in oner of her statements specifically stated that they did not turn around. Cab driver Richard Peterson has said that he heard Chapman call out to Lennon, but Peterson has only recently added this detail, many years after his original statements failed to mention it.
Myth 12 – Chapman had a smoking gun on him when he was arrested.
Reality - By the time the police arrived, Chapman’s alleged gun had been taken away by a third party and hidden. If a gun swap was needed, this allowed for this to happen. No fingerprints were taken from the gun. The chain of evidence on the gun was broken many times.
Myth 13 – Doctor Lynn was the surgeon who worked on Lennon.
Reality - For 30 years, Doctor Lynn took the credit for trying to save Lennon’s life and holding Lennon’s heart in his hand. This was untrue. Lynn did arrive later in the ER room when Dr. Halleran and nurses were already trying to save Lennon, but Lynn did not assist in their efforts.
Myth 14 – Doctor Veteran has gone on record and stated Lennon was shot down his left side.
Reality - Doctor Veteran, like Doctor Lynn, did not help in saving John Lennon’s life.
Myth 15 – The ER report would have stated where John Lennon was shot.
Reality - The ER report, filled out on the night Lennon died by Dr. Halleran went missing. This report had a stick drawing showing Lennon’s front and exit wounds – four in the front, three out of the back, in a direct line of fire. This vital evidence conveniently went missing on the night of the murder and has never been seen again since.
Myth 16 – The film ‘The Lennon Report’, states that John was shot in his back.
Reality - The nurses from the Roosevelt Hospital tried on multiple occasions to get this changed to front wounds. The film’s writers insisted they were going by what Wikipedia said. The nurses wittily retorted that Wikipedia was not in the room when they were trying to save John Lennon.
Myth 17 – The autopsy press conference, conducted by Chief Medical Examiner Elliot Gross, stated that Gross thought Lennon was shot two times in the back and two times in the shoulder.
Reality - Gross was accused multiple times of falsifying autopsies. His autopsy was also not witnessed by a senior detective from the NYPD. They gave the witnessing job to a young cop who later became ‘friends’ with Gross.
Myth 18 – Chapman said he killed John Lennon to promote the Salinger book, ‘Catcher in the Rye’.
Reality - Chapman did initially state promotion of the Salinger book as a reason for killing John Lennon, alongside seeing Lennon as a phony - an accusation also inspired by the book. But, this quickly morphed into ‘demons’ making him commit the murder. This morphed again in 1992, to killing John Lennon to ‘acquire his fame’. Catcher, demons and fame were all inserted into Chapman’s head in the years following Lennon’s murder as reasons for why he thought he killed Lennon. Some could say that Chapman did not really know why he tried to kill John Lennon. A strange assessment for a man who we have been told on multiple occasions was a cold and calculated killer.
Myth 19 – The NYPD investigated the case thoroughly.
Reality - This is not true. Lieutenant Arthur O’Connor from the police station where Chapman was arrested, declared that no proper investigation took place. They had their man. It was a grounder. A gimme. Lennon’s blood was washed away from the scene the next morning. The glass vestibule doors were immediately taken down and thrown into the Dakota basement. No detectives were seen at the scene in the days after the murder. A crime report has never been released to the public.
Myth 20 – Lennon was not a threat to anybody in power when he was killed.
Reality - By December 1980, Lennon was back in the public eye and due to attend a rally in San Francisco. Lennon had the power in the 1970’s to gather thousands of activists to his concerts and rallies. Lennon was anti-war, anti-religion and anti-capitalism. Many powerful people in the incoming corrupt Reagan administration (Bush, Cheney, Rumsfeld, Casey) despised and feared Lennon for his beliefs and his influence, and his previous attacks on Richard Nixon.
Myth 21 - Lennon ran into the building after being shot.
Reality - All medical testimony was unanimous in declaring death would have happened ‘very shortly’ after John was shot. Medical testimony was also unanimous in declaring that Lennon would have dropped down immediately to the ground after suffering gunshot wounds to all the major arteries around his heart.
Lord Chis Monkton debunks the manmade climate change hoax
Lord Monkton, Alan Miller, Paul Burgess and I all spoke at an event in Parliament to stop the net zero scam.
Just like my debates on excess deaths and ‘vaccine’ harms the MPs would not engage in a debate they couldn’t win
Tom O’Neill at the MKUltra congressional hearing:
‘It has been found to be feasible to take the memory of a definite event in the life of an individual and, through hypnotic suggestion, bring about the subsequent conscious recall to the effect that this event never actually took place, but that a different (fictional) event actually did occur.'
Like shooting a person for instance.
CIA MKUltra Manchurian Candidate consultant MIlton Kline was placed into Mark Chapman’s cell days after John Lennon was assassinated. The sessions Kline (and other nefarious hypnotists) had with Chapman were private and undocumented.
Six months after Kline and his evil cohorts had their private sessions with Chapman, Chapman decided to plead guilty, because ‘god’ told him to do so.
This clips allows us to hear CIA MKUltra Manchurian Candidate consultant MIlton Kline hypnotising Chapman in his cell.
In September 1990, my village in Valencia hit 46°C.
It was the exact kind of natural climate volatility this ancient planet has unleashed for billions of years.
Today, Valencia, Rome, and Athens are actually sitting well below their seasonal averages. Yet, the media is in a coordinated meltdown over a standard two-week warm patch in the UK, France, and Belgium.
As a geospatial engineer who wrote a thesis on climatology, I’m positioned better than many to talk about the topic, the entire narrative relies on a broken view of data systems.
The formula is simple: zoom in on a tiny slice of geography, filter out the cool regions that ruin the story, and label a hot afternoon a global catastrophe.
The funniest part is the sheer hubris of the solution.
We are told the Earth's massive climate system operates like a living room thermostat, that if humans just stop CO2 emissions, we can magically freeze the weather at our preferred temperature.
Pretending we can micromanage global macro-cycles with carbon taxes.
But as long as panic funds the machine, and people don’t think by themselves, they’ll keep selling the front-row tickets.
Across Britain right now, farmers are shearing their sheep, bagging up the wool, and burning it. Some bury it. Some leave it to rot in a corner of the field. The wool-burning has made the odd headline as a protest, but the truth is duller and sadder. The fleece is worth less than the diesel it would take to haul it to the depot.
The numbers are grim. In recent years a kilo of British wool has fetched somewhere between twenty and sixty pence, and hill breeds like Swaledale and Welsh Mountain sank as low as ten. A whole fleece off a mountain ewe might bring thirty pence. Shearing that same ewe costs the farmer around two pounds. One Lincolnshire farmer added it up out loud: over three pounds to shear and cart a single fleece to the depot, and twenty-six pence back. So she burns them. A great many do.
Here is the part that stings. The shearing still has to happen, every year, whatever the wool will fetch. A sheep left in full fleece overheats, struggles to move, and gets eaten alive by maggots. So the job carries on purely as welfare, a cost the farmer simply eats to spare the animal, with the wool itself going on the fire straight after.
And think about what this fibre once was. For centuries wool was the engine of the English economy, the country's greatest export and the crown's main source of tax. It raised the soaring wool churches of the Cotswolds. It turned merchants into princes. To this day, whoever presides over the House of Lords sits on the Woolsack, a literal cushion of wool, put there in the fourteenth century so nobody would forget where the nation's wealth began.
Prices have lifted off the floor this past year, the first real relief in a long while. It still does not cover the shears for a hill farmer. The fibre that built England now smoulders in a heap behind the barn, and almost nobody notices the smoke.

Activist: "Beef uses an obscene amount of water. Fifteen thousand litres per kilo."
Farmer: "Where did the water come from?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The fifteen thousand litres. Where was it before it was on the bill."
Activist: "I don't know. A river?"
Farmer: "The sky. About ninety-four percent of that figure is rain that fell on the field and got drunk by the grass. The cow ate the grass. The rain was on its way down whether the cow was here or not."
Activist: "But it still counts as water used."
Farmer: "By the grass. Which would have used it whether I farmed or moved to Spain. The cow isn't commissioning the rainfall. The rain isn't on the cow's payroll."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The rain still falls. The grass still drinks it. The water cycles back into the air anyway, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's rain, grass, cow, river. Or it's rain, grass, rot, river. Same circle, fewer dinners. Meanwhile every almond in your milk took a gallon of pumped aquifer water in California to grow. That one you might want to worry about. The rain in Wales is doing fine without your concern."
Activist: "Your cows are putting carbon into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "Where did they get it?"
Activist: "What?"
Farmer: "The carbon. Where did the cow get it before it put it anywhere."
Activist: "From... eating?"
Farmer: "From eating grass. And where did the grass get it."
Activist: "The soil?"
Farmer: "The air. The grass pulled it out of the air last spring. The cow ate the grass. The cow breathed some of it back out. It went back into the air it came from."
Activist: "But it's still going into the atmosphere."
Farmer: "It's going back. There's a difference between a thing going somewhere and a thing going back. You've described a circle and you're frightened of it."
Activist: "Then just don't have the cow."
Farmer: "The grass still dies in autumn. It rots where it falls. The carbon goes back into the air either way, just without anyone getting fed in the middle."
Activist: "It's not that simple."
Farmer: "It's grass, cow, breath, grass. Or it's grass, rot, air, grass. Same circle, fewer dinners. If that's complicated for you I'd stay away from the water cycle. That one's got clouds in it."
A cow, given grass and rain, produces:
Meat. Complete protein, top of the bioavailability table.
Milk. So nutritionally complete we feed it to our young.
Leather. Ten thousand years of footwear. Composts when you're done.
Tallow. Stable cooking fat, soap, candles. Currently being sold back to us as skincare at eight times the butcher's price.
Bones. Broth, tools, fertiliser.
Organs. The most nutrient-dense food on earth, ignored by the culture that buys three supplements to replace them.
Manure. Grows the grass. The cycle runs again.
Try to engineer that. A machine that takes rain and a patch of grass and produces six complete products while improving the soil and reproducing itself.
You can't. We haven't.
We're being told to eliminate them. While flying almonds in from California.
Sad to see the demise of Cadbury’s but once bought by the U.S. it was inevitable… check out how much of this stuff is used in their diets, and processed foods. Eat old fashioned. Don’t eat late. Cut out empty calories. Move more! Three months to make or break habits
@seanonolennon “When I judge art, I take my painting and put it next to a God-made object like a tree or flower. If it clashes, it is not art." That was a quote from Paul Cezanne
Slavery existed for over 5,000 years.
Every major civilisation accepted it.
For most of history, nobody seriously tried to stop it at scale.
Then Britain did something different.
It didn’t just pass a law.
👇
In 1807, Britain abolished the slave trade.
Then it enforced it.
For 60 years, the Royal Navy hunted slave ships.
1,600 ships captured.
Around 150,000 people freed.
And it cost lives.
Around 2,000 British sailors died doing it.
Then in 1833:
Britain abolished slavery across its empire.
800,000 people set free.
It paid £20 million to do it. Around 40 percent of government spending.
This wasn’t quick.
This wasn’t easy.
And it didn’t start with politicians.
It started with ordinary people.
Women boycotted sugar.
Hundreds of thousands of them.
Thomas Clarkson rode 35,000 miles to gather evidence.
A movement that took decades.
This is part of British history.
Not perfect.
But not what most people are told either.
Almost no one explains it like this.

The awkward moment when Mark Chapman couldn't recall what happened to John Lennon after he had just shot him. By this point, Chapman had endured years of unfettered access by MK Ultra hypnotists & hell-fire preachers.
It is alleged Chapman shot at Lennon 5 times with a revolver.
