@dc33455@Devon_Eriksen_ This is so true. (Gen X) We are seeing now how much of what the politicians do is unrelated to what we are asking them to do. We never ASKED them to use the SS $, but we will deal with the consequences of it being gone.
@SpeaktheTruth64@dehlers2 (Gen X). We KNOW it's a ponzi scheme, but it's enforced by law! Paying in was not optional. The gov TOOK our $ to keep the ponzi scheme going, which limited what we could save. There will no easy way out of this mess.
@kunoichi_jp_@japan_nobunaga I worked with a man with a concealed carry permit. He wore a handgun it to work every day.
Many of my friends have guns in their vehicles - either in a rack behind their head or holders under the dashboard.
My sister-in-law and a mother friend both have guns in their purses.
@tuuu28283 I had a friend in Japan whi participated in the Labo program at her school. When she was 17, she came to America for about 6 weeks. It was during the summer, so she did not attend school while she was here.
@Tusk_4Real It's the connectivity. My son and his friends were here swimming, then decided they wanted to play video games. Everyone WENT HOME to log on so that they could play together. ๐คทโโ๏ธ
@tuuu28283 I should add that my friend has been to the US at least a dozen times. Three times with us (Labo - 1 summer in school, once to experience Christmas, and once for my wedding) but the rest with Japanese friends.
@tuuu28283 When i visited Japan, I stayed with a Japanese friend who was my tour guide for the visit. I would have been completely lost without her. Even now, I'm not sure i could adventure there alone!
@Games1074713@usamori_pudding Agreed. I am horrified to admit that when I visited friends in Japan, I was ready to remove my shoes, but out of confusion, I stepped one step too far to do it. ๐ข This was 20 years ago, and I still feel terrible!!
