@ReachDrMuganga The qn should rather be why the findings are not as visible on ground as expected/preferred. Why the uptake is low/slow?...,which is a research question on its own that still can not be responded to with a single answer or approach across disciplines.
@ReachDrMuganga The primary goal of Scientific research is to solve societal problems or contribute to so; which is actually a process. Both basic and applied research. All credible journals have T
tight screening criteria to enusre only novel and impact-worthy work goes through. ...
@SpireJim@ReachDrMuganga The number of publications is indeed in direct proportionality with impact except those "published" through paper mills where novelty and impact are not part of screening criteria.
@isaackarwe28600@SpireJim@emmanuel_dombo The same can easily be said of a degree or another qualification. For starters, PhD is about research (creating or building knowledge). Everything you put your eyes on that isn't God made is a result of research. I wish u know how much the Chinese govt is injecting in research.
@SpireJim@emmanuel_dombo You taught yourself fine Art? I dont see it listed. I like the fact that you have an East Africa wide image of education. Would love to have a chat with you on education philosophy in E. Africa; a comparative approach.
@AnitaNantume@ewatu84212@chrys_muke @Roy_Willies What's Industrial chemistry to you? Because KyU adds engineering you think its any different? There are lotsa course duplications at KyU disguised as specialisation.. making it nothing but a vocational institute.
